If you are a traditionalist in food “all you can eat bugs, only 12 Hong Kong dollars!” If you’re open to trying new things for fear of encountering signs, you may wander around wondering where to eat and what to eat.. To put both parties at ease, we stole the slogan of the disgraceful chocolate advertisement played by Rüştü, “Insect? we don’t eat. But different dishes? Of course we will!” Well? So it goes like this; We tried various kinds of food, but we did not eat such crazy things that make us say that people cannot eat them.. You can think of it as a kind of Far Eastern Cuisine 101. Mak’s Noodle

Where you eat and what you eat is very important in Hong Kong.. Because there are thousands of restaurants and you don’t understand most of the signs.. Naturally, the sometimes sudden “should we try here?” It can be a little difficult to make decisions.. We know that you will want to try Noodle when you set foot in the Far East.. If you are going to try the genuine Hong Kong-specific Far Eastern noodle, Mak’s Noodle is definitely one of your addresses.. Its type and taste are different from ours, because our noodles are certainly adapted to Turkish taste.. Here, unlike ours, you will encounter a type of noodle with plenty of water and not many ingredients.. They will give you soy and unspecified sauces, and you will replace yourself as a guinea pig for that meal and try whatever God has given you.. Let us remind you that you have options with shrimp, beef and chicken.. Now it’s up to you whether you tell by imitating shrimp or describe the chicken by cackling.

-We know, the type of the place will not give you any confidence.. But don’t be afraid, you can think of it as a Hong Kong style artisan restaurant.

-Because it is a very local and small place, they will not be able to speak to you in English.. If you cut the food of the tables around like us and say what they eat, a happy ending is guaranteed.. (Don’t think about dirty things)

-We tried Noodle Wonton, Noodle Beef Briscet and Noodle with Shrim&Oyster Sauce, you can try them directly.. The fee costs something like HKD 140 for those wondering.

Australian Dairy Company

This is such a strange place. Even if there are 23949 places to have breakfast in the country, it doesn’t matter, there is a queue here almost every morning.. If you see inside, “Is this it?” Australian Dairy Co is one of the most popular breakfast places in the city these days.. Inside, your menu is clear, as we call “pasta soup”, scrambled eggs and buttered bread.. Of course, you can’t say all of them together if you want, but that’s the thing.. If you’re going to act like a local, don’t question, eat your pasta soup early in the morning like a master.

-We are very serious about the crowd, we recommend you to go on a day when you are very hungry.. If you say no, you can’t come to the queue or something, you can consume this menu until the evening when you want.

-This is not a restaurant where you can sit and enjoy the Turkish style.. You have to have your breakfast and get up, otherwise you might get a reaction.

Man Mo Cafe

Before I tell Man Mo, let me warn you, you won’t be able to come back from Hong Kong without eating dim sum.. Before we tell you what it is, let’s add that we’re almost sure you’ll like it so we’re interested.. Original Dim-Sum = Chinese version of the appetizer. However, mostly ravioli style (more like “hinkal”) is used to refer to dough balls filled with various ingredients, which are quite delicious snacks.- For some, it may even be a main course, for us it is a snack.- Actually, it makes more sense to call these versions “dumpling”

Man Mo Cafe, on the other hand, takes this Dim Sum issue one step further, developing different varieties than their usual versions and preparing incredibly delicious dishes such as mozzarella, pesto, and whimsical cheese.. They already call themselves “Contemporary Dim Sum Restaurant”. In our opinion, you should definitely try it.

Classified

He will get bored of Far Eastern cuisine If you happen to be, there are hundreds of options in the city that will save you.. Hong Kong is not only famous for its Far Eastern cuisine, but also for its diversity in World cuisine.. The most legendary of such restaurants, in our opinion, is definitely Classified.. Meat, pasta, chicken, European breakfast, good cocktails, assorted beers, whatever you look for is available. Its audience is mostly expats living in Hong Kong.. If we say we haven’t eaten Mac and Cheese as good as the Mac and Cheese we ate here, it’s one hundred percent surety, even in America, the father of this business.. So don’t be surprised if they try to pass you things to eat and drink at the door, it’s not their madness, it’s pure lawlessness.

Little Bao

We don’t know if you’ve heard of “Asian Burger”. we didn’t have. However, if we like Far Eastern food, we included Little Bao on our list of places to discover, thinking why not love the burger and we did not regret it at all.. As you can understand from our little description above, Little Bao, which has a variety of interesting burgers, is very popular in the city.. Therefore, you should consider the possibility of not being able to find a place or waiting.. Let’s add that the portions are quite small.. But do you like it? We think you’ll like it.

Mandarin Cake Shop

When people couldn’t finish praising the Mandarin Cake Shop inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, we were overwhelmed by our curiosity and left here.. As such, we don’t know if our expectations were too high or if we just don’t understand dessert.. However, we will not hesitate to say that this place is literally “overrated”.. Moreover, let’s add that their prices are quite high compared to their average desserts.

-You can try Blueberry Cheesecake.. Delicious here as in most places. You can also taste Coconut Cake and Fresh Cream Horn.

Din Tai Fung

Din Tai Fung, which you can come across a lot on the internet if you do some research before you go to Hong Kong, is a place with a mix of local & tourist, especially famous for its Dim Sums.. There are plenty of fans, but after trying a few restaurants in Hong Kong, it is likely that you will come to the conclusion that this place does not have a great feature and that there are places that do this job much better.. Still, it’s not a place to make you say don’t go, if you don’t intend to have a long-term meal and if you’re going to make other plans later, you can spend an evening here.

TWG Tea

Actually originating from Singapore, TWG Tea, which has a very sweet, very sweet concept, is named after its name. As you can understand, it has focused on tea.. This is a patisserie chain with branches in several different countries.. There are many varieties of sweet and salty. The reason that attracted us was primarily because we saw a dessert that we ate in Portugal and was sick of in its window.. However, when we realized that what we ate was so bad that it had nothing to do with Portugal, we turned to other things and discovered some very nice pastry desserts.. If you intend to spend part of your day adoring one of the city’s parks, you can enjoy a few snacks here.

Tips

-If you’re into street food, this isn’t Bangkok, but you can still come across some interesting things.. Here’s something about Bangkok, it’s quite possible that you can come across some of them in Hong Kong.

-You will see that tea is served before or after a meal, especially in local places.. Especially if you are eating dim sum, there is a 90% probability that you will have tea in front of you.. They serve it because it facilitates digestion and relaxes the stomach.. We don’t know if you like it, but don’t forget to taste it anyway.. I don’t know why, it tasted strangely like earth to us.

-Feel free to try restaurants that interest you.. There are many delicious things coming out of places that are scary as if they are selling donkey meat.

-There are many restaurants and bars in the SOHO region that we could not try but that look pretty cute.. If you want to explore other than what we wrote above, this place kisses your hands.
