Kucukkuyu
My introduction to Küçükkuyu began in 1992. Since then, I will definitely come here every summer, actually.. The first year we came, we stayed in a small pension by the sea.. Then our folks must have liked this place so much, they bought a summer house right away.. Of course, no one asks us whether we like it or not, after all, we are children, what does our opinion matter. With its air, sea (although a little cold) and climate, it is the kind that will meet all the demands of those who come.
The history of Küçükkuyu is 9 BC.. century. God Zeus mentioned in Homer’s famous Iliad Epic for Küçükkuyu, whose historical name is Gargaron; “There is such a place between the blue of the Aegean and the green of Ida; I couldn’t find the taste of the breakfast I made with delicious olive varieties in the sharp smell of thyme. That’s GARGARAN.”
The name of the mouthwash comes from Gargara hill of Mount Ida.. However, the exact location of the historical city of Gargara is not known, due to the lack of sufficient historical studies and research.
The research conducted by the Ministry of Culture in 1998 and the remains found were correct, and it was determined that the first place known as Gargara was named Gargara. It was Kocakaya Tepe in Nusratlı village and then moved to Zindan Tepe in Arıklı Village.

Adatepe Village: Its history dates back to ancient times, its architectural structure is completely composed of stones, olive, cypress, Surrounded by almond and pine trees, and being the only protected village of the region after it was declared a protected area in 1989, “Adatepe Village” is one of the rare places in Turkey that does not deteriorate.
Adatepe Olive Oil Museum: Adatepe Olive Oil Museum, located right at the entrance of Küçükkuyu, is a cute museum that should definitely be visited and information about olive oil.. The building, which started operating as a soap factory in 1950, was used for different purposes in the following years and even became a ruin for a period.. Küçükçetmi Village: Only 3 km from Küçükkuyu. With its hot water of 43 degrees, the Aphrodite Spa welcomes many visitors in summer.. For the spa, you can either pay for the pool and pay for the room or use the room separately.
Assos: It is 20 km north of Küçükkuyu.. Tahtakuşlar Ethnography Museum: It is a Unesco award-winning place that reveals the culture and art of the Turkmens.. 6 km after Akçay, continue on the Çamlıbel road and the left of the road takes you to Tahtakuşlar, while the right road takes you to Çamlıbel.. Turkey’s first private ethnography museum also has the title of art gallery established in a village for the first time.. Various household items, manuscripts, necklaces, carpets and other cultural assets of Turkish tribes who migrated from Central Asia to Turkey are exhibited in the museum.. The most important thing is Dermochhelys Coriacea, the largest leatherback sea turtle on display in the world, with a length of 1.97 cm and a weight of 360 kg.. Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. We had a comfortable journey to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, with a 55-minute flight from Varanasi.. Nepal is 3 hours 20 minutes ahead of Turkey and 15 minutes ahead of India.

A person who has prayed has red paint on his forehead. When you see this, know that that person has prayed. Let’s not forget that the main element of flower worship. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

But first, let’s list the must-haves and some information you need to know for those who are considering coming to Nepal:
Take a mask. Too much air pollution in the city. If you don’t want to walk in dust and smoke, take your mask.

Those who come to Nepal by plane should get a free map from the airport.. The map you will get from the hotels is not very descriptive and guiding.

Buy LP-Nepal. If not, you can find it in Thamel.. But those who do not want to buy definitely need a guide in the temple areas.. But for me, the temples and the figures carved on the temple do not mean anything, if you only want to take pictures of them, you do not even need a guide.. They charge up to 100 rs from tourists, don’t give more than 25 rs. For your information! Locals don’t like discounts in Kathmandu.
