Places to Visit in Ölüdeniz
First of all, let me state the following; I think that 3 days is enough to digest the places on my list.. If you have more time, you can increase the number of days for Ölüdeniz.. You won’t regret it !
Other than that, if you’re going to spend 1 day in Ölüdeniz, so if you have limited time, don’t return without seeing Oludeniz Beach, Kumburnu Beach, Montana Seyir Tepesi, Butterfly Valley and Kayaköy.. You can easily visit these places and swim in the sea in 1 day.. But on one condition of course.. Provided that you wake up early in the morning.
Most of the topics on my list of places to visit in Ölüdeniz consist of bays and beaches.. So this list is a list that you can get enough of the blue.. You cannot drive to some of the places on this list.. So these places can only be reached by boat.. I start my list with Montana Hill, which is not known to many people.. If you come to Ölüdeniz, I especially recommend Montana Hill.. Because the view of Ölüdeniz and the sunset are legendary from here.

Montana Lookout
You know, there are legendary photos of Ölüdeniz on social media, they are usually taken from Montana Hill. This is truly a scenic vantage point.. Kumburnu Beach on one side, Oludeniz Beach on the other. You look at the view for a long time and leave all your troubles aside.. In my opinion, the legendary view of Ölüdeniz can be viewed from Montana and from Babadag.
If you can take it with you on Montana Hill, get a camping chair and go here. enjoy like us. Especially if you come across the sunset here, don’t enjoy it.. If you’re going to have something to eat or drink here, please, but please don’t forget to throw your trash in the trash.
Note: 1 year ago you could go to Montana Hill by car, but recently the way out is to the car entrance closed. If you still want to go to Montana, after leaving your car in front of the Garcia Hotel, you can reach Montana Hill with a 20-minute walk.. No problem if you have a motorcycle. Oludeniz Beach
The first beach that comes to mind when Oludeniz is mentioned is Belcekiz Beach or Oludeniz Beach. This is a public beach of about 3 km and the entrance to the beach is free. The sea is beautiful and turquoise blue. Its name is Ölüdeniz, but the sea here is wavy and deepens immediately, so it’s not like a bed sheet.. The beach consists of sand and pebbles.. The sea deepens after 3-4 meters. Children need to be careful.
You can rent umbrellas or sun loungers at Ölüdeniz Beach.. Or you can use your own chair and umbrella if you want.
Belcekiz Beach I think the best place to swim is towards the rocks.. The sea is cleaner and calmer here. If you have also stayed in Ölüdeniz, I strongly recommend you to swim at this beach first hours of the morning. Let me tell you it has an incredible pleasure.

Kumburnu Beach – Ölüdeniz Lagoon
We came to Kumburnu Beach, one of the most popular spots on the list of places to visit in Ölüdeniz. Kumburnu Beach is a famous place not only in Turkey but also in the world.. Kumburnu, also known as Oludeniz Lagoon, gives you the pleasure of both the sea and an area that can be considered a lake.
Kumburnu Beach is located on the far right side of Ölüdeniz, at the far end.. The right side of the beach is still and shallow, the other side is cooler and wavy.
This is not a public beach, so there is an entrance fee.. Kumburnu Beach consists of sandy and small stones. Compared to Ölüdeniz Beach, this place is more ideal for families with children.. WC, dressing cabin and shower facilities are available. Overcrowded in high season !

Kidrak Bay
Kidrak Bay, which is very close to the center of Oludeniz, has a very wide and long beach.. The sea of Kıdrak Bay is clean and salty.. Being salty gives the sea a turquoise appearance.. The place where the beach meets the sea consists of pebbles.. The sea gets deep after 2-3 meters. It can be dangerous for non-swimmers to enter the sea at this point.. However, when the necessary precautions are taken, it is a pleasant sea..
There are wooded areas on the coast. In general, although wooded areas are included in the operation area, it is possible to find wooded areas in the interior of the coast.. No parking problem.
As Kıdrak is a place preferred by foreign tourists as well as domestic tourists, the operating prices here are a bit high.. Business quality is also poor. If you come from outside with food and beverage supply as you wish, you will not have any problems.. Toilets, changing cabins and shower facilities are available. Sunbeds and umbrellas are chargeable, but you can find a very comfortable place with your own umbrella and chair.

Hisarönü Mahallesi
The heart of Ölüdeniz nightlife beats here. If you ask Where can I visit Oludeniz at night, the address is Hisaronu. Located among pine forests, Hisarönü and Ovacık Neighborhoods are located right in the middle of Fethiye and Ölüdeniz.. Hisarönü is 5 km from Ölüdeniz and 6 km from Fethiye.
There are many hotels and holiday villages in Hisarönü.. If you want to stay in a place close to Ölüdeniz, you can also choose this region.
If you come to Hisarönü for the first time, you feel as if you are in a foreign country.. Wherever you turn you see English uncles and aunts.. The venues here are in English pub style.. Don’t expect such fancy places. So don’t have too high expectations.. In short, if you get bored in Ölüdeniz, you can come here for a drink at night.. If it doesn’t wrap here, switch to Fethiye centre..
Babadag
When Oludeniz is mentioned, a Oludeniz Lagoon and Parachute comes. Paragliding activity, which is among the first answers to the question of what to do in Ölüdeniz, is made from Babadag.
Many activities are carried out in Babadağ, from paragliding to ATV trips, from camps to nature walks.
If you want to catch the uniquely beautiful view of Ölüdeniz, you should come to Babadağ.. If you jump with a parachute, the view will be automatically under your feet.
While you could only go to Babadağ by car in the past, you can now easily reach here by cable car.. Blue Cave
We continue our list of places to visit in Ölüdeniz with Blue Cave. The Blue Cave is officially engraved on our minds and souls.. It was lucky for us to stop by here on our Oludeniz boat tour because boat tours don’t always stop here..
You can only reach the Blue Cave by boat.. So you can’t land here by land.. Before joining the boat tour in Ölüdeniz, I think you should ask if the boat has come here.
The sea here is clean and the water is quite cold.. A mini beach awaits you when you enter the Blue Cave.. There are really not enough words to describe this place.. The location of the Blue Cave, a very convenient place for diving, is here.

If Oludeniz center is OK, it’s time to visit the surrounding places. We did not include places that are too far from Ölüdeniz in our list of Places to visit around Ölüdeniz.. Therefore, you can easily visit the places I wrote about.
There are plenty of coves and beaches on our list of places to visit around Oludeniz.. In order to visit all the places on our list, you need to take a Boat tour in Ölüdeniz.. Our first stop around Ölüdeniz is the Butterfly Valley, the most popular place in recent years.
List of Places to Visit around Ölüdeniz
If you want to come to Butterfly Valley by sea and explore the valley, you have to pay 25 TL, which is the Butterfly Valley entrance fee.. There is no entrance fee for Butterfly Valley viewing point for the upper view.
Where is Butterfly Valley & How to Go?
To reach Butterfly Valley, first of all, Ölüdeniz you need to go to. You can go to Faralya Village with the minibuses departing from Ölüdeniz and go down to the valley by pathways (these roads are quite dangerous).. At this point, be careful if your shoes are not good or you have little trekking experience.. When you go down to the valley, you can also go to the waterfall flowing at the lowest point.. If you do not prefer to walk, the best way to reach the valley is by boat.
The Butterfly Valley is definitely on the route of daily boat tours in Ölüdeniz and there is a 1-hour break here.. If you want to spend a longer time, the ideal option is the dolmus boats.. The last round trip by minibus to Butterfly Valley was 70 TL.

Let’s come to the best viewing point where you can see the Butterfly Valley from above.. On the way to Faralya Village from Ölüdeniz, there is a fountain and a rocky spot infested by bees where vehicles stop at the first bend of the Butterfly Valley.. Important Note: Please, please don’t get too close to the cliff sides of the rocks while I’m trying to get the best picture.. Be very, very careful about this.. There were those who fell from here and unfortunately died !
Pumpkin Bay
Kabak Bay One of the most beautiful bays of Ölüdeniz. The bay is 33 km from Fethiye and 20 km from Ölüdeniz. Kabak Beach has a pebbly beach of approximately 200 meters.. The sea is a bit wavy, its color is deep blue.
There is also a waterfall on the upper side of Kabak Bay, you can reach the mountain in about 1 hour by climbing.. Getting here is a bit of a hassle and requires performance.. There are also small ponds in the forest, the water is quite cold and perfect for cooling off.

There are many establishments where you can camp in Kabak Bay.. There are shower and WC facilities in the camps.. Businesses generally operate on half board.. Where is Kabak Bay & How to Get There?
You can go to Kabak Bay by minibus from Ölüdeniz. If you are going with your personal car, you go to a certain place by car, then you park your car in the car park for 30 TL, which is quite difficult to get to that particular place due to the condition of the road.
After parking your vehicle then you get on the minibuses. Minibus fares are 10 TL per person, the dolmus fee varies according to the occupancy rate of the vehicle and there must be at least 10 people in the vehicle.. Kayaköy
Welcome to Ghost Village in the list of Oludeniz Places to Visit. Kayaköy is an old Greek settlement. The village consists of 3500 houses respectfully lined up on the hillside, one of which does not block the way of the other.
There were 25 thousand people living in Kayaköy until 1922.. After the War of Independence, in the Population Exchange, the inhabitants of the village were sent to Greece and Turks from Western Thrace were settled here, but the Turks who came built houses on the plain in front of Kayaköy and lived in these houses, not in the old houses.. When the situation was like this, there was no one living in the village and this place was called a ghost village.. Kayaköy, formerly known as Levissi, has 2 churches and 14 chapels (small churches).. While walking on the narrow roads of Kayaköy, people dream and try to visualize the past in their minds.

Af Tower Monastery
Our next stop after Kayaköy is Af Kule Monastery. Although it is a bit difficult to go to the monastery, this place has an exquisite view.. If you can adjust, the sunset here is even more exquisite.
As for the story of Af Kule Monastery; It is believed that the monastery was built by carving the rock in a 10-meter area by a monk named Ayios Eleftherios and the monk suffered a lifetime here.
The road to Af Kule Monastery is a field rather than a road You go by car until you reach the monastery on foot.. Pay attention to the signs and do not lose the way. When you reach the monastery, you will see the hearts and names written on the walls, and if you see how much we have destroyed our history, you will be sad.. But you still try to enjoy the view.
How to Go to Af Kule Monastery?

Aquarium Bay
Aquarium Bay in Muğla never ends. When the sea is beautiful in many places and people have a hard time finding names for these places, I guess they say let’s call this Aquarium Bay
Oludeniz Aquarium Bay is a bay that truly deserves the name.. This is the stopover point for Oludeniz boat tours.. There is no car access to this bay.. I can say Aquarium Bay is the place with the cleanest water among Ölüdeniz coves and beaches.. Unless we count the fuel of the boats!
Snorkels or goggles are a must to swim with the fishes in Aquarium Bay.. The location of Aquarium Bay is here.
Bottleneck Bay – Iblis Cove
I can say Bottleneck is the most hidden point of our list of places to visit in Ölüdeniz. The bottleneck may have remained Fethiye’s most unknown bay. There is no car access here.. It is a little difficult to reach the bay. Since we took the wrong way at first (we couldn’t find the path), we were very tired until we found the right way.. But we finally hit the target.
You get directions on Google map and reach the last point you can reach by car (you park your car on the road before you come to Gemile Bay) and reach the Bottleneck with a 20-minute walk.. You can park your car on the side of the road. After parking the vehicle, you will see a wooden warning sign (on the right) and you will follow the path you see.. After 20 minutes, a legendary view and a beautiful bay will be waiting for you.. You will see the sea on both sides of you on your way to the bottleneck.. Don’t forget to sit on the road and enjoy the view.
Make sure to have water and food with you when you go to the bottleneck.. I recommend the elderly and those with children not to go here because of the pathway.. Because the way is compelling. There are no businesses in Bottleneck. You have to go with supplies.
It’s not crowded even if you go here on the weekend.. This is also a stopover point for conservative boat tours.. What we didn’t like in this bay were black flies.. Gemile Bay and Beach
We came to Gemile Bay, which is among the coves you can drive to in Ölüdeniz. The view is beautiful on the way down to Gemile Bay by car.. Don’t forget to take lots of photos here.
As for the bay, Gemile Beach has a small beach and a stony beach.. If you want to swim in the sea, you can choose the place with the rocks on the left.. There is also a campground here.. You can camp here if you want.. I say read the reviews of the property before going here !

St.. Nicholas Island – Gemiler Island
The St Nicholas Island located just across Gemile Bay has a history of 2500 years. There are 7 old churches on this island, which bears the traces of the Roman and Byzantine periods.. Besides the churches, there are also structures necessary for daily life such as houses and warehouses.
The tunnel on the island connects the big church and the small church.. The area around the island consists entirely of historical ruins.. St.. Nicholas Island is only accessible by boat.. The sea is literally glassy here. When you dive, you can see historical ruins. Snorkel and goggles are required.

Cold Water Bay
We came to Soğuk Su Bay, which is the most ice place in our list of places to visit in Ölüdeniz. In the heat of summer, this place creates a shock effect on your body with its ice-cold water.. Even I, who don’t like a lot of cold water, didn’t want to get out of here.. We arrived here with the Oludeniz boat tour. Normally, there is no access to Cold Water Bay by car.. Just like the Bottleneck, you can reach here by car for a certain distance and then on foot.
The sea in Soguk Su Bay is clean.. As you swim to the cold water source, the temperature decreases and you start to feel cold.. Really good in the heat of summer. There are no businesses here. If you are going to come on foot by road, it is useful to come with a supply..
If you ask how to get to the Cold Water Bay on foot, this place is right behind Kayaköy. If you like to walk, you can reach the cove by a 40-minute path that goes all the way to the beach from the ruins in Kayaköy (from the road next to the fountain to the church).. Camel Beach
We came to Camel Beach, the last place on our list of Oludeniz Places to Visit. You can only reach here by boat.. We had a lunch break at Deve Beach on our Oludeniz boat tour. This place is right across the Soğuk Su Bay.
The reason why it is called Camel Beach is because the rocks here resemble a camel from above.. No land access to Camel Beach. Location here.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. We had a comfortable journey to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, with a 55-minute flight from Varanasi.. Nepal is 3 hours 20 minutes ahead of Turkey and 15 minutes ahead of India.

A person who has prayed has red paint on his forehead. When you see this, know that that person has prayed. Let’s not forget that the main element of flower worship. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.
