Golden Gate (Golden Gate)
In our travels, we usually start by visiting places close to our accommodation.. Our first stop was Golden Gate) since it was close to the hostel we stayed at in Kiev.

Saint Sofia Cathedral
Our stop after the Golden Gate is St. Sofia Cathedral. Saint Sofia Cathedral, which is thought to be 1000 years old, was included in the World Heritage List in 1990 and became one of the 7 wonders of Ukraine by voting in 2007.
This is a cathedral consisting of many buildings and each place has a different entrance fee.. Mosaics, embroidery, paintings are incredibly aesthetic.. During the time we went (October), the opening and closing time of the cathedral was 10:00 – 17:30.. Entrance fees make a difference if you’re a student.. I mentioned that most of my Kyiv Attractions List are churches/cathedrals. One of the most important of these is Saint Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral. It seemed very aesthetic and photographic to me because its color is blue..

Kreschatik Street
This is the heart of Kiev. Life in the city flows on this street. The most important street of Kiev Kreschatik Street is 1.2 km long. In terms of shopping, you can find many brands here.
Besarabsky Market is located at the end of the street (north side).. There are vegetable, fruit and fish stalls in the market.. If you want to have a quick snack, you can choose this market.. Opportunities for shopping are good, but don’t be fooled by the cheapness of the stores, this is the 20 most expensive place in Europe in 2010.. The street was chosen.
Kreschatik Street is closed to vehicle traffic on weekends and holidays for people to travel comfortably.. Oh, by the way, a branch of Roshen, whose chocolates and sweets we are addicted to, is located on this street.

Freedom Square, located on Kreschatik Street, has been the scene of many political conflicts and is among the symbols of Kiev.. The Orange Revolution, which started with the 2004 Ukrainian Presidential elections, started in this square.
Under this square is the Globus Mall. You can shop here. We were shopping at the market here and cooking at our hostel.. There is something you need to pay attention to in Freedom Square, where many street artists take the stage.. He also parrots, monkeys. Bessarabsky Market
If you want to see Kiev’s traditional markets and feel the local atmosphere, you should definitely visit Bessarabsky Market. Let me tell you that you can avoid the smell when you want to feel the locality.
The sellers in this market are mostly middle-aged Ukrainian women.. In general, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits and nuts are sold in the market.. Prices are reasonable.
This is a covered market.. As the flavors and some images didn’t appeal to us, we just wandered off.. Since the market is in the center, you can visit it without delay.

Saint Volodymyr’s Cathedral
Cathedrals of Kiev colorful. Isn’t the yellow here beautiful?. St Volodymyr’s Cathedral in 1852 Metropolitan Philaret of Moscow, Prince Vladimir I of Kyiv (St.. A.V Fomin Botanical Garden
Kyiv has such beautiful parks that people really find peace in these parks. We went to these parks, which I think are beautiful in every season, in the last spring and we saw the beauty of autumn.. This park is named after the famous writer, artist and painter Taras Shevchenko’ from. There is also a statue of Taras Shevchenko in the park.. This place is right across from the university.
This park, where students come frequently, is a corner of heaven.. If you are in love with green and nature like us, stop by this park and have fun on the interestingly designed benches.. Photograph the details you love.

Hydropark (Hydropark)
To Hydropark which is located on the Dnieper River we take the metro we passed. It was very quiet since we were in the autumn season.. We also enjoyed this serenity and took a long nature walk.
Hydropark was used as a beach in summer.. But it is not said to be very clean, and a favorite place for nudes.. Here, people also do activities such as cycling and water sports.. If you have time, there is also the opportunity to rent a boat.

M.M. Hryshko Botanical Garden
Goethe made the following sentence about Kyiv: “I’ve seen cities with parks in them, but it’s the first time I see the city in a park.” Kyiv is truly a city of parks.. One of these parks is the M.M Hryshko Botanical Garden, which was established in 1936.
In this park, which has an area of 1.3 km² (120 hectares), and 13.000 species of trees, shrubs, flowers and flowers from all over the world, there are other plants. I’m sure this park gets a lot more glamorous in the spring.. The closest metro stop to the park is Druzhby Narodiv.. The opening-closing hours of the park are 08:30-21:00.

The Motherland Monument
Motherland Statue, a statue built to commemorate the Nazi-Soviet War. Made by sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and draftsman Vasyl Borodai and made of stainless steel. The statue’s total height is 102 meters and its weight is 560 tons, including the 16-meter sword in its hand.
The weight of the sword in the right hand of the statue is 9 tons.. The sword means I will fight against those who attack my country.. In the left hand, there is a 13×8 meter wide shield with the coat of arms of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.. The meaning of the shield is that I protect my nation with my shield.. When you look closely, the statue looks quite majestic.
A certain point of the statue can be reached by an elevator for a fee.. According to a last rumor about the monument, the sword was shaved a little because the Pecherski Lavra Church near the statue was higher than its height.

2. Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II
The history of a country can only be told so beautifully. This museum, which was built to make people forget history, really impressed us.. The museum consists of two floors.. one. On the second floor, there are many items depicting the liberation from the occupation.

Caves Monastery (Kyiv Pechersk Lavra)
Caves Monastery is located between Mother Motherland and Arsenalna metro station. The Pechersk Lavra, which was started to be built in 1051, is the holy pilgrimage site of the Orthodox and is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.. There are 18 churches in the monastery.. Monks used to retreat in the caves of the Caves Monastery.
If you come to this museum, do not forget to visit the Micro Miniatures Museum where you can see works such as a girl figure sitting on a fly’s wing, a chess set made on a pinhead, which can only be seen with a microscope.

Arsenalna Metro Station

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.
