Didim Apollon Temple and Snake-Haired Woman Medusa
When I fell on the roads of Didim, it was almost evening and I was in Izmir. I spend a period of 142 km and two hours from Izmir to Didim, singing loudly on the road.. When I reach Didim Altinkum in the evening, we meet with my cousin whom I haven’t seen for years.
How is the closed road in Didim full of people?. Everyone who has not taken a vacation due to the elections has now filled the Aegean coasts.. Everyone is on vacation at the same time. On the other hand, I am trying to throw myself into a house with the tiredness of being on the road for a long time.. I plan to rest for a few days, write my accumulated articles and then explore Didim.. The weather is very hot.

Didim Altinkum Beaches
My first place of discovery is Altinkum beaches. Being in the middle of the season is like being in the heart of the crowd. Sun loungers and umbrellas cover all Altinkum beaches. sea shallow. Walk, walk, it’s impossible to get wet. Such places, which can be nice for families with children, are not very relaxing for me.
I wasn’t very hopeful about the first target anyway.. I find out that Akbuk is more untouched and beautiful by asking questions.. It’s not easy to travel in a car in the heat of noon.. When I’m going towards Akbuk, I can’t stand it and take the first turn.. This is the site area very close to Didim. The wind is so strong that I don’t need to look for too many places.. Getting wet and sunbathing will make me happy today.
The sea here is shallow and sandy.. While I was thinking that I shouldn’t be looking for anything more today, a fire broke out before I could put my feet in the water.. I left the car on the dirt road. Olive groves began to burn towards that direction.. I’m running out of there. A family was trying to have a barbecue when I came.. When the wind blows strongly, it splashes into the first bush and then into the olive grove.
As someone who has witnessed the first moment of a fire, I can say that it spreads in seconds.. It must have taken the fire department 15 minutes to arrive.. It took hours if you ask me.. When the tiny fire department is trying to put out this huge fire, they put it out in a short time.. Snake from the wind, the shallowness of the sea, and the fire, I set off for the Apollo Temple with the easing of the heat. That’s what I had in mind.

I am very curious about the temple that is open until seven o’clock. The Temple of Apollo is right in the center. Within walking distance. There were few people at the time I went.. I was able to park my car easily. I only have one hour to travel. Entrance fee 5 lira. It can be seen even through bars.
I’m after the snake-haired woman Medusa. It’s so nice to be at the Apollo Temple right at sunset.. This is not an ancient city. An oracle center, a temple dedicated to Apollo, the god of prophecy. When you see such high pillars, one takes a look.. My tripod and me, my dress and the wind make me capture beautiful shots. I thank the people who saw the tripod to step aside and allow for the photo.
I am walking around the temple. I pass through corridors, wide courtyards. In the distance I see unfinished Medusa statues. I still haven’t found the snake-haired woman. It’s not a very big place actually, but there is no. Unfinished statues stand on the ground. I go and sit next to them. I’m touching. I’m talking. no one is happy. There is great worry and anxiety in his eyes.. Why were they built this way?
As the sun sets, the whistles of the officials behind the pillars herald the closing of the temple.. I’m sorry why I didn’t come sooner. I literally killed time in the wind blowing like crazy all day, in the waters one inch deep…

Taking pictures together is not very pleasant when the sun is upside down, but it’s not too much trouble.. Eye contact is more important. I say “what are you talking about”. I saw anxiety in Medusa, whose statues were made with expressions of fear, astonishment and horror.. With the closing of the temple, I look behind me. I say goodbye with my eyes because I can’t touch. I say don’t worry don’t worry anymore. all passed. As it is evening in Didim, I am under the influence of Medusa.
Akbük Saplı Island
For Akbük, which I could not go to the next day before. i’m on the road. Didim to Akbuk is 21 km. I see an island on the way to Akbuk. It’s Island with a Handle. When I see people walking through the water to the island, I want to pass too.. A dirt road descends through the trees and you can park your car.. Shadow areas have been taken over.
This is the Island with Handles in Akbuk Bay. I am passing to the island in the water that is up to my ankles.. how beautiful. When I get to the island, I see that there is someone living here.. He created a world for himself. When I wander around the island, I see that it is not very pleasant to swim in the sea, but the view is very beautiful.. The sea is stony and mossy.
After enjoying the view, I walk back to the land and enjoy the sea.. The water seems a little cold. It’s too hot outside. Wherever I went this year, the water never got hot.
Didim and Altinkum are very close to each other. It’s as close as 5 km and 9 minutes.. Like Altinkum hotels zone. There are hotels along the beach.. The shopping and walking route of closed road tourists in Didim. It was too crowded for me.. The sea is very suitable for families with children. I love rocky and stony. I love the deepening sea. The most beautiful place I love in Didim is Apollo Temple. If I come again, I will come to Medusa.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.

After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.
