Just kidding, it’s been almost a year since I moved to Berlin! People are astonished… We visited Berlin well this year, but if we did something better than that, we ate well.. Berlin’s Best Breakfast Places

44Brekkie: Berlin One of the first places that come to mind when we say breakfast in. There is no one in Berlin who doesn’t know their sandwich called ‘egg drop’ anymore.. And since the sandwiches are suitable for standing up, you don’t have to find a place.. 44Brekkie is seriously cool.

Allans Breakfast Club (ABC); A tiny but very old breakfast place right across 44Brekkie in Allans. We can say that it is one of the cults of Berlin. Different breakfast plates are our favourite.. Places to note when it comes to breakfast in Berlin.

House of Small Wonder is another Insta-friendly Berlin breakfast place. You can recognize the place from the colorful stairs in front of it because it’s an Instagram cliche! Apart from that, since it has a mixed Japanese-European cuisine, there are very, very nice breakfast plates.. Especially those with eggs! The one who goes won’t regret it…..

Our recommendation for pastry lovers is Zeit für Brot. We can say that our favorite patisserie in Berlin. We also go for breakfast, but sometimes we stop by and grab some coffee + banana bread.. Banana bread is sooo good! Actually all of their snacks are very good.

We have come to Berlin, if you say you need to try Turkish breakfast, the address is Lemon Feincost. We don’t know, but when we want a Turkish breakfast, we go here and order menemen with sausage.. They also make pancakes and ravioli, but we can’t say they are our favourites.

Berlin’s Best Hamburgers

Kreuzburger; When we go to Berlin as tourists, we always go to Kreuzburger.. Eating and drinking in Berlin would be officially incomplete without a hamburger + Kreuzberg street view. Kreuzburger’s hamburgers used to be very, very cheap, now we can say that they are not that cheap, but they are in the Berlin average, their fries are also very successful..

Speaking of hamburgers, let’s briefly list our favorite hamburgers; Burgermeister is a phenomenon. Its first branch opens in Kreuzberg, with the restoration of a public toilet. Before the pandemic, there was a crazy crowd in front of it! We hope he returns to his crazy days after the pandemic.. If you have the chance, you can try their other branches, seriously, their hamburgers are legendary!

Not without mentioning the Korean Fried Chicken madness in Berlin! Berlin has outdone itself in this regard and we can say that it has made us addicted to fried chicken.. Especially for lovers of pain mi-kem-mel! Angry Chicken is one of the oldest, and since it’s in Kreuzberg, you can easily miss your way. Korean Food Stories and Kokio Berlin are a bit more luxurious but still priced at Berlin average. Heh, we almost forgot, there is Guten Mountain which is a tiny buffet! If you are looking for a street food-style place, you should definitely go.

There are many Vietnamese people who settled in Berlin after the Vietnam War, naturally there are many Vietnamese places.. We met Vietnamese cuisine in Germany and we are addicted to it since then! I wish Vietnamese cuisine was as well known in Turkey..

Our favorite Umami Fhain among Vietnam places. Umami even has a few more branches. Both the atmosphere is very nice and the food, cocktails and desserts! In addition, when you buy the menu for two, it is much cheaper than the Berlin average.. Umami is our number one introduction to Vietnamese cuisine! Our second favorite Vietnamese place is Monsieur Vuong.

There is Secret Garden, which we can call Far Eastern cuisine even though we can’t exactly call it Vietnam. A place that transcends sushi. If you go here, be sure to try their sushi and summer rolls..

The Barn

Since we opened the coffee shop file, it’s a must to start with The Barn! Berlin is like a stronghold of third wave coffee shops.. There will be a coffee shop in front of you from every corner, so you better add to your plans to try at least 3-4 coffee shops a day while you are visiting! And since almost all of the coffee shops produce their own coffee, if you have a little interest in coffee, you can immediately tell the difference between them..

The Barn is one of the best-known coffee shops in Berlin, it already has 4-5 different branches. In fact, it became well known after the series, as its most popular branch was the place where the coffee shop scenes of the Netflix series Unorthodox were shot.. If you ask us, we don’t like Barn’s coffee that much, and it’s quite expensive compared to the Berlin average.. Even though we’ve given a few different branches a chance at different times, the coffee is still very sour to us.. Instead, our favorite Berlin coffee shop is below!

Five Elephant

Our favorite among the coffee shops in Berlin! Their snacks are also good, but their coffee is better. When they asked where to buy office coffee for our office in Berlin, Five Elephant was chosen by a majority of votes.. It’s like he officially came first among hipsters.

Our favorite coffee shop near Kreuzberg is Bonanza Coffee. It has a magnificent building and garden. Their coffee and snacks are also very good.. There is also Kaffeekirche Roastery nearby. It’s a tiny place, but their coffee is pretty good..

Kaffee Ingwer A vegan coffee shop loved by hipsters in Berlin. There is Goodies nearby, it’s not bad either, but we can’t say it’s our favourite.

Let’s not forget Shakespeare & Son, one of our favourites.. This is a place that is partly a bookstore and partly a coffee shop.. Kazım Koyuncu was playing inside the last time we went.. Nordic style desserts. Extreme Berlin Berlin is a place.

Our two favorite coffee shops in Neukölln are Companion Coffee and Camon. You can try these two places on the day of your visit to Neukölln.

Kraft, our favorite coffee shop around Prenzlauerberg.

Father Carpenter and Ben Rahim are popular coffee shops around mitte. Both are nice, but sometimes it can be very crowded, but if you’re near, definitely try it.

If you have to try one last coffee shop, you can try What do you fancy love.. It has two branches, we like the one in Kudamm more.

Best Turkish Places in Berlin

We were going to write this category separately, of course! Let’s start with kebab and doner..

Mustafa’s Gemüse, A doner kebab that serves take-away doner out of a tiny container that everyone who steps into Berlin is in line to try, whether Venezuelan or Japanese, almost passed out to try it. ! In fact, we can say doner with vegetables because there are dozens of things in doner, from tulum cheese to eggplant.. In fact, this place is so famous that Mustafa was in the last Diesel commercials.. You can curse when you see the line in front of you, but if you hold on and wait, there is light at the end of the tunnel..

K.W.A, aka Kebab with Attitude, cannot be skipped. It’s not that there will always be a third wave coffee shop, this is a third wave hipster doner kebab shop! There are kebab plates with such glowing doner kebab. One of its three founders is Turkish, and the other founders are very friendly people.. Hipster doner restaurant, where you can enjoy tea after dinner, what more can you ask for.

Adana Grillhouse and Fes are our favorites for the fireside in Berlin. Fes’s presentations are also great. If you want to go to a more tavern-like place, you can save Agora Tavern.. And for home cooking, Mercan Restaurant they make our favorite, mother dish you know.. If you come across the fried rice menu! If you are looking for a Meze Shop, for example, if you want to take home appetizers on a special day, our favorite Meze Haus in Kreuzberg. Owners are also very sweet.

We won’t recommend this to tourists, but if you are a Berlin native and you’re craving real lahmacun like crazy, you should go to Example Lahmacun in Wedding.. You can’t have such a taste for 1 Euro! Of course, you should never be obsessed with hygiene and you should not be stuck in the environment..

You know, a bubble tea frenzy is going on.. There is only one place in Berlin that is considered the mother and father of Bubble Tea lovers; The Alley. We can’t say that we love the bubble teas that we have tried elsewhere, but The Alley really knows its business.

Our favorite place to eat your favorite Lebanese cuisine is Zula Hummus Cafe.

If you like or want to try Israeli cuisine, we recommend Night Kitchen. There is Tajikistan Tea Room, which is a Tajikistan tea house (as it’s called) right next to it, it should sit authentically like this..

We will recommend The Eatery for Italian style sandwiches, no need to say much, you will never regret it.

Berlin’s Best Vegan places

Berlin means nothing without vegan places.. We will write down our favorites among the ones we have tried so far.. If you want to try a vegan hamburger, you can take note of the place called Veg’d. The most realistic vegan crispy chicken we’ve ever eaten was here. Only the owner of the place is extremely sullen, you have to go knowing it.

Our second favorite is Vedang. This is actually a vegan fast food chain. What is different from the others is that it uses vegan ground beef, which is considered the most successful vegan product in the world, called beyond meet.. As far as we know, there is only a Vedang chain in Germany that uses the brand beyond meet.

Hot dogs

Although Frankfurt is not as much as Munich, Berlin is still a sausage paradise. If you want to try it, there are two places we can say try it here.. One is Curry61. We even buy vegan sausages from here, it looks a lot like regular sausage. The other is Curry 36. Curry 36 right at the foot of Mustafa’s Gemüse. You can remove both at the same time.

Desserts

We start with our favorite sweet nata. We tried many places that make pastel de nata in Berlin, but so far the winner is clear! Pastel in Kreuzberg is sweet!

If you want more iridescent desserts like this, take note of Werkstatt der Süsse’, for example Pumpkin cheecake. It’s a tiny little place, but its desserts are delicious.

There is only one place that makes even us, who don’t like donuts, addicted to it; Brammibal Donuts. Normally, donuts are too sweet for us and we never eat them.. But this place is different…it deserves to be on the lists until the end. It has two branches, there will always be a queue in Kreuzberg.
