Budapest Nightlife Tips A to Z
Budapest, the capital of Hungary in Europe, was two separate cities until 17 November 1873. Budin was on one side of the Danube and Pest on the other.. With the construction of the Chain Bridge, the two cities are connected and the name of this city is Budapest.. Distance cannot separate me from Budapest, just as the Danube cannot separate Budapest from each other.. My favorite city in Europe lately, with both places to visit and nightlife in Budapest.. I came to the city for a test drive for the first time in 2016, both on New Year’s Eve and in September.. I will go again in May 2017.

How is Budapest Nightlife?
Budapest nightlife has a structure that appeals to many different tastes.. Ruined bars, beautifully decorated gardens, open-air discos and much more await those who come to Budapest. Moreover, these places are too many to test them all at once.. I share with you as much as I can discover.
Places to Visit in Budapest Nightlife
Ruin Bars
Ruin bars are the first things that come to mind when it comes to Budapest nightlife.. A trend formed by the interesting decoration of abandoned buildings with scrap items after communism.. Today there are many interesting ruin bars in Budapest.. It’s impossible to discover all of them in one vacation.
Szimpla Kert
When you think of Budapest nightlife and Budapest junk bar, the first place you will come across is Szimpla Kert. Szimpla Kert is one of the most interesting places you can see in the world.. This place is open day and night. A place where you can eat and drink during the day, and even a market is set up on Sunday mornings.. In the evenings, it is one of the liveliest places of Budapest nightlife.. A 2-storey ruin bar, each room decorated differently. This is a very pleasant stop where you will want to take pictures all over.
Szimpla Kert is the 7th place of Budapest.. It is located on Kazinczy Utca (Kazinczy street) in the most lively area called the district (Jewish District).
There is no entrance fee to the venue.. There is no problem of entering without a drip. There may be serious queues in front of the door only on some days and hours.. But if you come after half an hour, you will see that this queue is up.. By the way, the wifi password of the venue is szimplakert

Instant
When it comes to Budapest nightlife, it is impossible not to mention Instant, another famous ruin bar.. This is a place mostly preferred by Erasmus students.. This place is located on Nagymezo Utca (Nagymezo Street), which you reach when you turn left from the next street from the Opera House on Andrassy Street, which I define as Bagdat Street in Budapest.. This street is a little less luxurious compared to Andrassy Street.. I wonder if this street is what you call “monster”, but you don’t have to be afraid.. When I went to Instant in winter, an entrance fee of 500 HUF (approximately 5.5 TL) was charged, but when I went in summer, we did not pay for the entrance.. The cloakroom fee is 300 HUF.
This is a junk bar with different concepts and DJs in different rooms on each floor.. While walking around the rooms and corridors, you feel as if you are in some dangerous underground places in American vampire movies.. You enter a venue and actually enjoy 4-5 different nightclubs.. This place is open until late at night. Bno credit cards accepted here. Therefore, it is useful to have HUF Hungarian currency with you.
This place has merged with Fogas Haz and has moved since 2017. You do not pay an entry fee. As a concept, there is a different DJ performance in each room.
Land of Kerts (Gardens)
Budapest nightlife is much more beautiful especially in summer and spring months because Budapest’s beautiful garden is more beautiful than the other. You have the opportunity to experience the concept venues.. Kert means garden in Hungarian. If there is the word Kert behind the name of a place, understand that you are going to a place with a garden.. The famous Szimpla Kert is not only a ruin bar, but also a Kert with the courtyard inside Kerts in the city do not end with a stroll either.. All of them have delightful decorations.. Köleves Kert
Köleves, which only serves indoors in winter, opens its garden in summer.. Köleves Kert was the most beautiful garden concept that came to my mind when it came to Budapest nightlife.. This was my favorite place that I tried to visit every night on my last visit.
Köleves Kert is like Szimpla Kert.. located in Kazinczy street in the region. However, you have to walk quite a bit from Sizmpla Kert.. The walking distance between the two takes about 5 minutes.
There is no entrance fee to Koleves Kert.. Unlike many places in Budapest, credit cards are accepted here.. However, it is not easy to find an empty table most of the time.. This place usually closes around 12-1. You don’t have to leave immediately when it closes, but the bar service stops. For those who don’t like alcohol like me, tea, coffee and soda are also available at the bar.
Hive
Hive 7 is located in Hive Party Hostel.. Another thing that caught our attention in the region was Kert.. Besides the decoration, another beauty of this place is that it is open until much later than many garden concepts.. However, the hum of the place is equally high.. Of course, there is no entrance fee 🙂
Kuplung
One of our Budapest nightlife discoveries is 7. with zone 6. The area border was Kuplung at the top of Kiraly Utca (Kiraly Street). This place, with its courtyard garden and interesting design, is worth seeing
Sauna Parties
Although the Hungarians tried to erase many things about the Ottoman Empire from their lives, the spa culture has permeated them.. The historical thermal springs of Hungary serve day and night, summer and winter.. These hot springs turn into nightclubs some nights of the week. The most famous of these are Szechenyi and Lucas Bath. These two spas hold parties alternately. One week there’s a party, the next week it’s the other.. They don’t organize parties at the same time.
I had the opportunity to go to these spa parties, which I couldn’t go to in winter because I couldn’t match the dates, on my last visit.. Frankly, the cheaper the Budapest nightlife, the more expensive these spa parties are.. Entrance fees start from 35 Euros in early sale. Regular ticket price is 40 Euros. Let’s come to this famous party. The party we went to took place in Szechenyi Bath, near Heroes’ Square (Hungarian: Hösök Tere). There is a very serious participation in this party.. If you don’t go early, you may have trouble finding a locker.. Don’t expect much hygiene in the closets and pools.. You know, people are having fun in these pools with their drinks in their hands.
In the following hours, the area around the historical outdoor pool becomes reminiscent of the pool parties of the movie American Pie.. Frankly, even though this kind of entertainment did not surround me, it may attract the attention of younger people.. However, those who are curious about the place can check the link below.
The most reasonable solution for getting here is the metro.. Line 1 brings it to your door. After the party, the most reasonable alternative is to walk to the Heroes Square and take the night buses from there.. But be careful, these buses run once an hour.

Things to do in Plomari
The so-called ‘old town’ in the center of the town, which is one of the oldest settlements on the island, is where you can witness typical Greek architecture.. Two-story, bay window, mostly wooden houses line the narrow streets.. It is essential to enjoy walking among the historical houses on quiet and calm streets without traffic noise and to breathe the atmosphere of the town.
There are many shops, shops and coffee houses around the big plane tree in the city square.. After wandering the streets, it is quite enjoyable to relax, have a drink and chat with the local people.
The beaches, each carrying the blue flag, which are chirpy in the summer season, are an unforgettable experience for those who love sea, sand and sun holidays.. Agios Isidoros Beach is shown among the few beaches not only in the region but also in Greece.
Oceanis Cafe
Make sure to try frappe, one of the cold drinks consumed by the Greeks.. Get immersed in life by sitting in the cafes that stretch towards the beach and the port.
There are 3 different museums in the town that appeal to enthusiasts. Varvayianni Ouzo Museum, Lomari Isidoros Arvanitis Ouzo Museum and Soap Museum are must-sees to see the most important production tools for this town.. The hospitality and warm welcome at the museums make people happy.

How to get to Plomari

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. We had a comfortable journey to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, with a 55-minute flight from Varanasi.. Nepal is 3 hours 20 minutes ahead of Turkey and 15 minutes ahead of India.

Whether Buddhist or Hindu, everyone can easily perform their daily rituals according to their religious beliefs.. There are enough temples in the city. Someone who goes to work or wanders around the streets completes his prayer by ringing the bell in the tiny temple on the street and applying the red paint inside the temple to his forehead.. A person who has prayed has red paint on his forehead. When you see this, know that that person has prayed. Let’s not forget that the main element of flower worship. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

Buy LP-Nepal. If not, you can find it in Thamel.. But those who do not want to buy definitely need a guide in the temple areas.. But for me, the temples and the figures carved on the temple do not mean anything, if you only want to take pictures of them, you do not even need a guide.. They charge up to 100 rs from tourists, don’t give more than 25 rs. For your information! Locals don’t like discounts in Kathmandu.

Gdansk’s Islands
I set foot on one of Gdansk’s islands from the Green Bridge in front of the Green Gate. I say island, but it is a part of the city I say so only because rivers run on both sides.
This is also a very touristic area, but it is under construction for now, that catches my attention the most. lots of mobile sweet sellers I see around. Poland’s sugary pastry desserts are in vain, definitely try it!

Eat a great boutique pancake shop called “Pan Kejk” on the Long Market I came. There is everything to eat and drink here, and you won’t believe the prices. I got a great sandwich, salad and unlimited coffee for only 15-20 zloty.
