First tavern, then backgammon
After consuming the south of Chios after a 5-6 hour route, our return journey to the island center begins.. We pass through small island villages by choosing roads other than the main route.. As we approach the first night of our laughter, smile, humorous and harmonious trip, I look at the sun that touches our face with the comfort of being away from the busy work tempo and stress, and the thought that we have come, once again crosses my mind.

While walking slowly on the narrow and back and forth roads of the island, we look at the sea, the mountains.. We are approaching the center with Eren’s map reading accompanied by orange groves, olive trees and plenty of nature scents, and the sharing of Ferzan, Yaşar and Gülseren Eyice couple.. Our common “disease” with Ferzan, our habit of visiting supermarkets abroad and comparing prices suddenly revives.
We find ourselves in the supermarket on the road.. While wandering around the colorful aisles before Easter, we look at the products unique to the island and look at objects that can compare with Turkey.. After looking at the prices of products in different categories from alcohol, olive oil and milk in detail, we bid farewell to the shelves.

Travel route on narrow and winding roads When the effect of the sun and the open air and the journey from İzmir to Çeşme in the early hours of the morning come together, signs of fatigue appear.. In order to be ready for the night and to prevent the eyes from closing in the night entertainment, we need to take a rest for a while.
As soon as we step into the island during the day, we take a short break at our hotel before going to the Bosphorus Taverna, which we made a reservation for.. After we set the meeting time to be 9, we lie in the room and evaluate the daytime part.
When we realize that there is 1.5 hours left until the meeting time, we are tempted by the idea of visiting new places and seeing new places once again with the thought of how fast the good times pass. .
Towards the tavern
After completing our preparations for dinner, we take the car we parked on the seashore and set off for the tavern.. We leave the Yaşar-Gülseren Eyice couple in front of the tavern and look for a parking space.. When most of the population gathered in the center of the island use their vehicles, there is a serious parking problem.. After a few tours, we record the parking place we can find in our memory and step into the tavern.
The first symbols that come to mind when talking about a tavern in Turkey are elements such as breaking porcelain plates, throwing napkins or eating with plates of fiery fruit.. However, contrary to what we were shown, the tavern is the place where people consume seafood (wine or ouzo) accompanied by alcohol and dance to classical Greek music… turned into night. The small number of employees in the newly opened place, which has been converted into a tavern with the decoration of an old Greek house, ensures that the increasing crowd does not catch up. It has a great effect on the lack of local cultural atmosphere.
If you want to come to the island and observe the local tastes and the entertainment culture of the people, it is better to prefer places that are on the coast rather than touristic places.
Seafood prices cannot be expensive in Greece, which is made up of about 2,000 islands and cliffs.. In addition, the fact that the hunting season in Turkey and the calendars of Greece do not match, ensures that all kinds of seafood can be found on the islands in almost every season.

Due to the Easter holiday of the Christian world, the increasing foreign population on the island seems to be pouring into entertainment venues.. Hundreds of young people between the ages of 13-17 come to the bars and clubs, which are not very different from the places in Europe, along the main street across the harbor.. We enter Central, one of the crowded places with the effect of Saturday night.. We can hardly get ourselves to the bar by getting out of the groups of boys and girls that enter in groups.. There is entertainment in the bar, where the beer is 5 euros on average, accompanied by pleasant-sounding music.. However, with the effect of the crowd, people are forced to come into contact with each other all the time.
As we continue our observations with the rhythm of the music, the low age group does not escape our attention.. After drinking two beers in Central, where there are always group entrances and exits, we return to the hotel to prepare for the next day once again…
Chios Castle
After breakfast, we return the car we rented and start our walk in the area close to the center of the island.. We are in a hurry to enjoy the time without remembering the tiredness of the previous day.
We are stepping inside the walls of Chios Castle, which is located in an area of 180 thousand square meters in the north of Chios Port.. There is also an Ottoman cemetery in the castle, where 600 residents live today.. Again, a small square and the cafes around it have become a meeting point for people.. After a short walk, we start the backgammon (Greek backgammon) tournament in the cafe where we are sitting.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.

After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.
