Before You Go
Cancun – Playa Del We planned our Carmen and Tulum trip to mid-September for 5 days. Most of the blogs we read before we went said that September is hurricane season in the Caribbean and the month is generally full of rain and hurricanes.. If you go to the Caribbean in September, don’t be afraid, don’t be beaten! The weather was ideal for a sea vacation and it rained twice, only in the evening.. Accommodation and tour prices were also much more affordable than the high season thanks to those fleeing the Caribbean in September.
Prices
Although Cancun and its surroundings are not as cheap as they used to be, locals You can still get the holidays cheap by hanging out like. If you prefer a hostel, you can stay in a decent hostel for 10 USD per person per day.. Chain hotels in Hotel Zone start from 120 USD per room per night.. You can easily have a Mexican-style dinner at Taco places where locals eat for 8-10 USD per person, including a drink.. But if you want to eat a ‘Steak’ in the Hotel Zone area, discard the 40 Usd. Yes, the drink, as a South American classic, is cheaper than water.(!) Beer is around 1-2 USD in places, tequila shots are less expensive than free. You can easily find tequila in the market for 3-4 Usd a bottle.. Don’t worry, we drank the tequila we bought for 4 USD a bottle and we didn’t die, it’s fine.
Visa
Mexico e-visa can be obtained for free for 30 days here and you can take it with you. You just need to print out. (They are constantly changing the link, this is up-to-date but may change.) You do not need an e-visa if you have a valid US visa.. There is information that Mexico does not require a visa from those who have a valid Schengen Visa, but do not believe it.. Although we have a residence permit from Germany, we had to obtain an e-visa at the airport, they only recognize the American visa.. Oh, and make sure that the airline you will fly to Mexico is an airline registered in the SAE system, otherwise the airline will not recognize your e-visa and they will not allow you to board the plane, and you will have to buy a new plane ticket with a thousand curses.. We bought our flight ticket from Havana to Cancun with Interjet airline company and learned at the last minute that they are not a member of the SAE system.. Using fight and persuasion methods at the airport, we were able to board the plane, if we hadn’t gotten to the airport early, we would have missed the plane by now!

If you’ve read a lot of Cancun – Playa Del Carmen – Tulum travel articles, bought your plane tickets and e-visa and landed in Cancun after a long flight, you are ready to go, bravo ! You can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel! Yes, Cancun has created a complete monopoly on this issue and there is no option to go to the city except for a taxi! Sad.
Accommodation zone in Cancun is divided into two. In the “Hotel Zone”, there are mostly 4-5 star and luxury hotels, while there are hostels and guesthouses in the center of Cancun.. We stayed at the ‘Beachscape Kin Ha Suites Hotel’ in Hotel Zone just because we had a very uncomfortable holiday in Cuba and wanted to rest a bit afterwards.. But we did not like the hotel at all and we do not recommend it, so we do not give details.. Find yourself another hotel, I’m sure you will find a much more suitable and beautiful one..
If you have come to the Cancun region and you have 5 days to visit, there are dozens of options in front of you.. We chose Chichen Itza, two cenotes, one-day Tulum, Playa Del Carmen, and the Maya region in Yucatan to visit on our own.. Not being able to go to Isle Mujeres because of lack of time made us feel very comfortable.. If you happen to be in Cancun, you should definitely go and tell us :/
Anyway, let’s go, our first day in Cancun was spent lying down doing nothing.. The sand and sea of the Caribbean is really beautiful as you can see in the photo.. If they give us a cocktail and a sunbed, we can lie on the beach for hours, no problem…
The second day we went to downtown Cancun and it was a two-day tour covering the places we wanted to go. We bought. The hotel you’re staying at may have a tour service and may be selling tours.. We are sure that the same tour you buy in the center sells for at least 3 times, do not be fooled, get down to the center and bargain with tour agencies, you will find it much more convenient, we did so.
The nightlife in Cancun is gathered in the hotels area.. If you have the opportunity, go to the Coco Bongo Show, which recreates the concerts of world-famous bands.. We couldn’t go because the tickets were 70 Usd, but we heard from a lot of people.. You can try dozens of different tacos at the taco place called Taco Factory in the same hotels area, and you can get 7-8 USD per person.. “El Granero Grill & Drinks” is our favorite for the best Mexican food we have eaten, and the prices are extremely affordable.. Tequila shots around USD 1, hamburgers around USD 4. As a bonus, you can find waiters drinking tequila with you at the end of the night.. Casa Tequila is also a beautiful place, but expensive by Mexican standards.
Cenote X’Keken
The Yucatan peninsula is famous for its Cenotes. Famous natural swimming pools of Mexico, which they call cenotes. These all-natural wells were mostly formed as a result of the collapse of caves, and over time they have become the most touristic attraction of the Yucatan region, and they are truly as beautiful as in the photo! There are entrance fees of around 5 USD. Tourists mostly go by tour, so we did. The most famous is Cenote Ik Kil. When purchasing a tour, be sure to ask which Cenotes to visit. There are also very lousy cenotes, then where is this place, you know, the cenotes were natural beauty or something! The depth here varies between 8 meters and 150 meters and the water is like ice (!!).. So get ready to freeze!
The world’s largest underwater museum is here. If you have time and are interested in this type of thing, definitely go.. You can dive for 40 Usd with snorkel. If you want to scuba dive, the price goes up to 80 Usd.. But is it worth it? absolutely!
Chichen Itza
You can easily find a tour to go to Chichen Itza. You can get daily tours to a cenote, Chichen Itza and souvenirs for 40 USD. Although everyone talks about Chichen Itza as the Mayan pyramid, our tour guide warned 50 times that there is no “Pyramid” in the Americas and Chichen Itza is a pyramid-shaped temple.. This temple, whose acoustics are still undeciphered, was completely formed as a result of the voluntary work of the Mayans.. We think we would have enjoyed it a lot more if it hadn’t been 40 degrees on the day we visited Chichen Itza (the sun was really on our heads, we started seeing double). >Playa Del Carmen is like a tiny and slightly shabby version of Cancun. The sea is not very beautiful, but since it is very close to the Cenotes, if you stay here, you can go to a different cenote every day.. Prices close to Cancun. We can’t compare the nightlife with Cancun since we went for a day trip and returned before evening, but we think that Playa Del Carmen also deserves the nightlife, since Mexico is the capital of Tequila.. Let’s not forget that the ferry departs from Playa Del Carmen every half hour to Cozumel Island.
Tulum was the most “Chill” among the beaches we visited.. Nightclubs in Playa Del Carmen and Cancun are not here, and everyone has left themselves to the sea, the sand, the flow of the holiday.. Prices are also various, bungalows are available for 30 Usd and 150 Usd. It may be the best honeymoon place we have visited so far, hold your lover on your arm, oh miss! In addition, Tulum is very close to the cenotes and maya regions we mentioned.. In this aspect, it gets another plus.
Is the Cancun region safe? Yes. But still, after a certain time at night, you see the police on the tank top with rifles on the street and say this is Mexico.. It is useful to take with you as much money as you can spend and put the rest in the safes in the hotel rooms.. Ibo, the friend we met in Cuba, said that he was extorted 3 times in Cancun..
Mexico’s geography is huge and there are actually many more places to visit and see.. We fit them in 5 days in Mexico. We rested to the fullest, traveled to the full, consumed a lot of spicy Mexican food, suffered from stomachache and returned home very happy.. We say it’s another spring for the places we can’t visit.

Things to do in Plomari
The so-called ‘old town’ in the center of the town, which is one of the oldest settlements on the island, is where you can witness typical Greek architecture.. Two-story, bay window, mostly wooden houses line the narrow streets.. It is essential to enjoy walking among the historical houses on quiet and calm streets without traffic noise and to breathe the atmosphere of the town.
There are many shops, shops and coffee houses around the big plane tree in the city square.. After wandering the streets, it is quite enjoyable to relax, have a drink and chat with the local people.

Get immersed in life by sitting in the cafes that stretch towards the beach and the port.
There are 3 different museums in the town that appeal to enthusiasts. Varvayianni Ouzo Museum, Lomari Isidoros Arvanitis Ouzo Museum and Soap Museum are must-sees to see the most important production tools for this town.. The hospitality and warm welcome at the museums make people happy.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. A person who has prayed has red paint on his forehead. When you see this, know that that person has prayed. Let’s not forget that the main element of flower worship. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

But first, let’s list the must-haves and some information you need to know for those who are considering coming to Nepal:
Take a mask. Too much air pollution in the city. If you don’t want to walk in dust and smoke, take your mask.
Bring walking shoes. The roads are very bad and dusty.. If you don’t want your nails to get dirty, wear sneakers.
Those who come to Nepal by plane should get a free map from the airport.. The map you will get from the hotels is not very descriptive and guiding.
Visit the bookstores in the Thamel area. There is a wide variety of books, magazines and many products for anyone interested in books, not just travelers.
Buy LP-Nepal. If not, you can find it in Thamel.. But those who do not want to buy definitely need a guide in the temple areas.. But for me, the temples and the figures carved on the temple do not mean anything, if you only want to take pictures of them, you do not even need a guide.. They charge up to 100 rs from tourists, don’t give more than 25 rs. For your information! Locals don’t like discounts in Kathmandu.

I set foot on one of Gdansk’s islands from the Green Bridge in front of the Green Gate. I say island, but it is a part of the city I say so only because rivers run on both sides.
This is also a very touristic area, but it is under construction for now, that catches my attention the most. lots of mobile sweet sellers I see around. Poland’s sugary pastry desserts are in vain, definitely try it!

I want to have a snack and rest now. Şso that I can have a little view so that I can both fill my stomach and watch the city
Eat a great boutique pancake shop called “Pan Kejk” on the Long Market I came. There is everything to eat and drink here, and you won’t believe the prices. I got a great sandwich, salad and unlimited coffee for only 15-20 zloty.

Time to enjoy sunny Gdansk. I pass the Golden Gate at the upper end of the Long Market and open to the modern part of the city.
There is a triumphal arch-like gate and another historical building behind the Golden Gate.. You have now reached the wide streets of Gdansk here.

A Little Out of the City, The Environment Is Different
There is a huge modern shopping mall right across the street. It is also possible to see socialist-style buildings when you go to a little bit further in the city. Gdansk dates back to different historical periods. It is a city that has witnessed it too.
I am now finishing my sightseeing in Gdansk.. You might think that this city is an atmospheric place anyway, and all its streets and avenues are special in general, so I say go everywhere

So Many Places to Visit in Poland!
It was a trip that met my expectations. I had high expectations when I came to Gdansk and it didn’t make any profit. It’s a very different place, especially from Warsaw.. Let’s see, I’ll have trips to Krakow and Katowice next month…
