Norway Vacation Prices (Oslo-Bergen-Trolltunga)
When you think of Norway, you think of fjords, northern lights, the most delicious salmon, fishermen (and their alleged creams ), wonderful nature and snow landscapes, high civilization and many more good things may be coming. At the same time, you must have heard from somewhere that it is a very expensive country and you have come across the revolts of those who went.. At this point, “I wonder how expensive Norway is, how much would we spend if we went for a short time?” Since the question comes to mind, I will try to enlighten you a little in my article Norway holiday prices.
The capital city of Oslo, which is one of the top places to visit in Norway, and the famous Bergen, which is the starting city of Norwegian fjord excursions as well as its charming houses , if you are going to set foot in Norway for the first time, there may be places to take on your route. Of course, it would be nicer to spare a little more time and take a fjord tour while you’re there, but instead, with a tough climbing route of 28 km in total, we are at the top of many travelers’ bucketlists. We chose to go to Trolltunga, and the Trolltunga walk, which we completed in 12 hours, was enough for us this time in terms of beautiful nature views.. After all, Norway is a huge country and it is a little difficult to see all its beauties at once.
We succeeded in climbing Trolltunga rock on our list of things to do before we die. .
In the middle of August 2017, that is, in the peak season of 2017, the chart of how much we spent on our trip as Oslo for 1 night, Trolltunga for 2 nights and Bergen for 1 night with my wife is below. I added, only the plane ticket is missing in the chart and you add it according to the air ticket price you will find.

OSLO – BERGEN – TROLLTUNGA HOTEL PRICES & HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS
As we can see in the chart, we have allocated more than half of our budget for accommodation for a 4-night Norway trip (3579 NOK). Moreover, I have bad news; we only paid hotel money for 3 nights. In other words, I can say that the price of a double room per night in an average hotel is 1200 NOK (125 Euros) for the high season, if you can, do not choose August so that the hotels will be a little cheaper.. Or if it suits you, you can reduce your accommodation budget by staying in multi-person rooms such as hostel / dormitory.. We didn’t have time for this trip except for August, and since we went as a couple, the shared hostel room was not suitable for us, so this is the result
Our first night was in Oslo and we found a host on couchsurfing and got the night for free, otherwise at least 1000 NOK more would have been added to the chart. My recommendation for Where to stay in Oslo is to find a place with a kitchen so that you can reduce the cost of eating and drinking out, I had a place like this before I found a couchsurfing host.. After Oslo, we stayed in Trolltunga for two nights.. In fact, when we look at where to stay for a Trolltunga trip or climbing, the closest areas are Odda and Tyssedal. We stayed in Odda.
If you don’t have a great plan that I haven’t thought of, you should stay two nights in this area to go to Trolltunga; because the most logical plan is to arrive at your previous destination and sleep early on the first day, and to go to the 28 km long Trolltunga road with the first light of the morning on the second day and go to sleep early in the evening in an extremely tired state.. Don’t make silly plans like “I spend the night on the road and throw my stuff in the hotel and then start climbing so I can tear it up with one night” or “I’ll set off to the next destination right after the climb so one night is enough”; Trolltunga is a really tough route, and you don’t want to poison yourself or go back before you can get to the top.

Our last night was in Bergen after Trolltunga. Since people flocked to see the Norwegian fjords in summer and started this fjord trip from Bergen, hotel prices in Bergen had skyrocketed and it was very difficult to find cheap hotels, unfortunately.
Only Since we had one night, we wanted to stay in the center in order to use our time efficiently and we stayed in a hotel called Bergen Budget Hotel, which also has a kitchen.. I think they were able to reduce the prices relatively by getting rid of the receptionist expenses with the self check-in system, otherwise I think it was not a bad hotel.. They e-mail you the access code the day before your check-in and you reach your room by doing what is written there. The low score of the hotel is also due to different friends who made a reservation without reading this system described on the hotel page and then complained that ‘there was no staff’

Because if you take the round trip from Oslo, it will cost you 7 hours to return from Bergen to Oslo by road.. It is essential to enjoy walking among the historical houses on quiet and calm streets without traffic noise and to breathe the atmosphere of the town.

There are 3 different museums in the town that appeal to enthusiasts. Varvayianni Ouzo Museum, Lomari Isidoros Arvanitis Ouzo Museum and Soap Museum are must-sees to see the most important production tools for this town.. The hospitality and warm welcome at the museums make people happy.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. Someone who goes to work or wanders around the streets completes his prayer by ringing the bell in the tiny temple on the street and applying the red paint inside the temple to his forehead.. A person who has prayed has red paint on his forehead. When you see this, know that that person has prayed. Let’s not forget that the main element of flower worship. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

But first, let’s list the must-haves and some information you need to know for those who are considering coming to Nepal:
Take a mask. Too much air pollution in the city. If you don’t want to walk in dust and smoke, take your mask.

But for me, the temples and the figures carved on the temple do not mean anything, if you only want to take pictures of them, you do not even need a guide.. There is a huge modern shopping mall right across the street. It is also possible to see socialist-style buildings when you go to a little bit further in the city. Gdansk dates back to different historical periods. It is a city that has witnessed it too.

It was a trip that met my expectations. I had high expectations when I came to Gdansk and it didn’t make any profit. It’s a very different place, especially from Warsaw.. Let’s see, I’ll have trips to Krakow and Katowice next month…
