First Morning in Tbilisi, Lit Hostel

From that moment on, it becomes our lifeline.. He hasn’t been to Turkey for a long time.. We had Trabzon bread with us.. He was going to cry when he saw it. We are preparing a Turkish breakfast with sausage and eggs. He also tells us what we need to see at length.. In the evening he invites you to his birthday. We are celebrating Uran’s birthday in a hostel in Tbilisi with people from different countries that we have just met, or even do not know, and whose language we do not speak. They equip a table, the banquet table you know.. We haven’t had such fun in a long time. Lit Hostel, where we paid 15 Lari per person and stayed for two nights, is no longer there. Owner Uran opened a hotel in Cambodia with my recommendation.. He was going to Uzbekistan. i think it got better. We now have a house there too.
1. Holy Trinity Cathedral – Sameba Ketadrali
After settling in the hostel on our first evening in Tbilisi, we throw ourselves into the streets again. Around 2 am everywhere is closed now. Finding something to eat is very difficult.. And how heavy rain is falling. We say “let’s go for a ride”. That’s when I see this cathedral for the first time. The next day, I say, “There is a small cathedral, let’s see that too”.. Uran, owner of Lit Hostel, bursts into laughter. It turns out that St.. Trinity Cathedral is the second largest Orthodox Cathedral in the world and the largest in Georgia. 15,000 people could pray at the same time.. Part of a complex of convent, school, hotel and nine chapels, five of which are underground. Come and don’t laugh. 101 meters high St.. Do not think that the Trinity Cathedral is a very old, historical building.. Fairly new. 2004 yes you read it right, it was finished in 2004. 2. Rezo Gabriadze Theater
The clock tower of the Rezo Gabriadze Theater in Tbilisi is not allowed to enter Tbilisi for anyone who does not take a picture.. The puppet master built this clock tower next to him while renovating his theater.. It has also become one of the symbols of Tbilisi. Every day a priest would come at 5 o’clock and ring the bell five times.. We were there at about that time, but we did not meet.. In fact, when it is open, an angel comes out from the top balcony and rings as many bells as it is time.. We didn’t see it either. If you were there at 12 noon or 7 pm, the tiny metal curtain in the middle of the clock would open and a few puppets would spin. We didn’t see that either.. If you say what you went to say if you haven’t seen anyone, well, I don’t know either.. The environment was nice. The cafe for the theater looked very nice.. 3. Old Tbilisi

We couldn’t even take a photo properly. So don’t linger too long for the photo.. The cable car is open 24 hours.
5. Kartlis Deda Statue
The second thing you can see from almost anywhere while wandering the streets of Tbilisi is the Kartlis Deda Statue. aka Mother of Georgia. mother of Georgia. What they did to Tbilisi‘s highest Solaki Hill was not enough, they also built 20 meters. The statue, which represents a traditional Georgian woman, is surrounded by street musicians and vendors.. 6. Tbilisi Botanical Garden
The Tbilisi Botanical Garden, which was established in 1845, is the oldest botanical garden in the Caucasus. It has a waterfall, countless different kinds of trees, birds, whatever you look for.. We are content to look down. We have traveled to the heart of nature so much that we think that for a month, we can’t even see what is done by human hands.. 7. Metekhi Church

9. Mtatsminda Park
You can get to Mtatsminda Park by funicular or by bus 90 and 124. This is an amusement park with its huge Ferris wheel and playgrounds.. There is a market on the weekends.. There is no fee if you are not going to ride the tools in the park.. This is the best place to see Tbilisi from above.. Since we have limited time, there is no time left here.. An ideal place for those with small children.

10. Narikala Castle
You can take the cable car up to Narikala Castle. It is called Narikala Fortress or Tbilisi Fortress. 11. Peace Bridge-Peace Bridge
The name of the river that runs through the middle of Tbilisi is the Kura River. There are many bridges between the two sides of the river for transportation. 14. Tbilisi Sulfur Baths
When we three hot springs fan friends hear about Sulfur Baths in Tbilisi’, we think we “must go”. Tbilisi literally means hot water source in Georgian.. I learned a Georgian word. thumbs up. We fill our bags with swimsuits, towels, shampoos and fall on the streets of Tbilisi.. Sulfur baths are on the Old Town side. You can also find Sulfur Baths by following the scent. smells of sulfur. 15. Leghvtakhevi Waterfall
Leghvtakhevi Waterfall remains inside the Botanical Park. At the time we went, it was only accessible from the Botanic Park and we were full of stones.. 16. Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square

You can sit and eat and drink at the restaurants around the square.. The street leading to the Old Town is also lively. You can find tours departing to places close to Tbilisi on that street.
17. Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater

We walked from Lit Hostel where we were staying and took a hop down to Rustavelli Street. We were also stunned with its illuminated state in the evening.. At that moment, of course, we do not know what building it is.. Turns out it was the Parliament Building. When we want to enter the building, we learn that the entrance is not allowed.. Because the building is not used. If we could enter, I think it was a beautiful building inside as well as outside.

Tbilisi Food and Drink

The so-called ‘old town’ in the center of the town, which is one of the oldest settlements on the island, is where you can witness typical Greek architecture.. Two-story, bay window, mostly wooden houses line the narrow streets.. It is essential to enjoy walking among the historical houses on quiet and calm streets without traffic noise and to breathe the atmosphere of the town.
There are many shops, shops and coffee houses around the big plane tree in the city square.. After wandering the streets, it is quite enjoyable to relax, have a drink and chat with the local people.
The beaches, each carrying the blue flag, which are chirpy in the summer season, are an unforgettable experience for those who love sea, sand and sun holidays.. Agios Isidoros Beach is shown among the few beaches not only in the region but also in Greece.

There are 3 different museums in the town that appeal to enthusiasts. Varvayianni Ouzo Museum, Lomari Isidoros Arvanitis Ouzo Museum and Soap Museum are must-sees to see the most important production tools for this town.. The hospitality and warm welcome at the museums make people happy.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. We had a comfortable journey to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, with a 55-minute flight from Varanasi.. Nepal is 3 hours 20 minutes ahead of Turkey and 15 minutes ahead of India.

Kathmandu is located in the valley at the confluence of the Vishnumati and Bagmati rivers.. There are dozens of temples hidden between its streets.. While it is difficult to breathe from the exhaust fumes in its narrow streets, it is certain that you will discover many things in the company of colorful shops, peddlers, bookshops and local people.
A blend of 2 religions, It is very possible to see that Buddhism and Hinduism coexist in the country where it is intertwined, and this unity is reflected even in objects and temples.. Whether Buddhist or Hindu, everyone can easily perform their daily rituals according to their religious beliefs.. There are enough temples in the city. Someone who goes to work or wanders around the streets completes his prayer by ringing the bell in the tiny temple on the street and applying the red paint inside the temple to his forehead.. A person who has prayed has red paint on his forehead. When you see this, know that that person has prayed. Let’s not forget that the main element of flower worship. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

But first, let’s list the must-haves and some information you need to know for those who are considering coming to Nepal:
Take a mask. Too much air pollution in the city. If you don’t want to walk in dust and smoke, take your mask.

Those who come to Nepal by plane should get a free map from the airport.. The map you will get from the hotels is not very descriptive and guiding.

Buy LP-Nepal. If not, you can find it in Thamel.. But those who do not want to buy definitely need a guide in the temple areas.. But for me, the temples and the figures carved on the temple do not mean anything, if you only want to take pictures of them, you do not even need a guide.. They charge up to 100 rs from tourists, don’t give more than 25 rs. For your information! Locals don’t like discounts in Kathmandu.
