THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DIİLİ BAY -DIİLİ BOAT TOUR
For many years, some of our summers took place in Dikili; but we never had the opportunity to explore the Dikili coves from visiting the closest beach and organized facilities to our house.. Although, when a person starts to visit a place routinely, he forgets to look at it from a different perspective after a while.. This was our story with Dikili; until we were met with a photo of Kalem Island in a magazine!
After that photo, we started to search for Kalem Island, then the internet took us to Bademli bays and from there to Dikili’ took to. Frankly, we would never have thought that the most beautiful and clearest coves of İzmir and the Aegean could be in Dikili.. We made a plan to see it with our own eyes and of course swim without opening the gap any further.
Until now, no one has told us about these sparkling turquoise coves; maybe they wanted to keep it to themselves. As the headmen of the Aegean, we took over the flag, in this article we take you on an unforgettable boat tour in the most beautiful bays of Dikili!
WHERE IS DİKİLİ?
Dikili, which is located in the north of İzmir and 120 km away from the center, stands out as a summer resort, but is actually a town where there is regular life in winter.. Its closest neighbors are Bergama and Balikesir, its coast is the Aegean Sea.. When the summer season opens, the population starts to increase in the towns of Bademli and Çandarlı, as well as in the center.
HOW TO GET TO DİKİLİ
You can easily go to Dikili from Izmir, Bergama, Ayvalık and Istanbul. Dikili, which has frequent bus services from the Aegean Region, is also very close to Istanbul with the opening of the new road.
Transportation from Izmir to Dikili:
Following the Menemen road from the center of Izmir, you can reach Dikili first by the O-30 highway, after passing Aliağa, by following the E87 highway from Zeytindağ.. The road takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Transportation from Bergama to Dikili:
Bergama – 30 minutes between sewing. Following the D240 highway, first take the İzmir – Çanakkale road, you can reach Dikili in a short time by following the signs.. Frequent bus transportation from Bergama Bus Station to Dikili Bus Station is also possible during the day.
Transportation from Ayvalık to Dikili:
Take the Ayvalık – İzmir road to İzmir – Çanakkale road and follow the signs. The road takes 30 minutes.
Transportation from Istanbul to Dikili:
Istanbul-Izmir highway Enter the O5 highway using. The direction on the new road is Soma; After you pass Savaştepe, you can pass Bergama and go to Dikili.. It takes a total of 3.5 hours to reach Dikili from Istanbul.. The road fee was 230 TL when we went, we couldn’t follow the current prices

DILIN BOAT TOUR
Dikili boat tours depart from the port of Dikili at 11:00 in the morning and visit the bays of Bademli town and return to the port at 18:30.. Since the boats operate at full capacity in summer, it is a good idea to call the captain you want and make a reservation in advance.
If you do not agree with a captain beforehand for the Dikili boat tour, you will find information on the stands you will see there when you go to the pier. You can take a trip by taking the one that suits you.. Boat tour prices are generally the same, but may vary according to the details of the lunch given.. The negative side of contracting a momentary boat in the port is that when you go, the boat may be full and therefore you may have to board whichever one has room.
DIKILI BOAT TOUR ROUTE
Boats are in order Küçük Zindancık Bay, Hanımın Bay next to Killik Bay, Aquarium between Kalem Island and Garip Island. It goes to the bay and finally to Ilıca Bay and goes around Kalem Island and returns to the port.
Even though we have a tradition of sharing our favorite bay on every boat tour, Dikili We couldn’t do that! All the coves were almost the same as each other in beauty and blue.. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SEWING BAY
Dikili boat tours are actually held off Bademli, the old Greek village of this region.. We wanted to briefly describe the bays around Bademli, they are also the most beautiful bays in Dikili for us.
#1 Küçük Zindancık Bay:
The first route of Dikili boat tours, Küçük Zindancık is located next to Killi Bay.. Since Küçük Zindancık Bay is located in an area with private properties, there is no land access to this bay, you can only go by boat.. A very nice place for a boat tour opening!
#2 Killik Bay:
Both from land and sea Killik Bay is one of the most loved bays of Dikili.. Killik Bay, located in the area where the ancient settlement known as Kanai in the past, took the form of a peninsula as a result of the waters flowing from Bademli Stream.. Thanks to the white sands both on the beach and at the bottom of the sea, the bay has a truly magnificent view.. It is very crowded on weekends as it is frequently preferred by families with children.. Another feature is that you can do natural peeling by applying the clays on the coast to your face or body.
#3 Lady’s Dark:
The Lady’s Cove is the neighbor of Killik Cove.. This cove, which used to be on the shore of a public olive grove, is now privately owned.. Can you imagine having a sheep like this? Neither did we…. Well, let’s keep talking.. Since the shore of the bay is also the private beach of the house, you can only come here by sea; However, when you come by boat, you can swim to the beach.. The clay from the stones on this shore is believed to be healing.. Just like in Killik, when the boat stops at Hanımın Bay, you can rub the clay obtained by scraping the stones on your body, but it is forbidden to fill the clay in pockets or bags and take it out of the bay.

Garip Island was sold to Fi Yapı by the Dartar family a few years ago; Currently in TMSF. There is no construction on it yet and we want to hope that it will not happen.. You can come to the untouched Garip Island of Bademli by boat tours or by chartered private boats.
#5 Kalem Island:
Kalem Island is the island where Oliviera Resort is located.. Oliviera Resort Hotel is one of the most beautiful honeymoon hotels located on an island in the middle of the turquoise bay of Dikili.. The beach faces the Bademli side, while the side facing the neighboring island of Lesbos is still quite untouched.. The shortest and most economical way to benefit from the bay is to come to the Aquarium Bay, which is its neighbor, with Dikili boat tours; because if you want to enter the beach of Oliviera Resort without accommodation, you have to pay 300 TL per person..
#6 Aquarium Cove:

Ilıca Bay, the last route of boat tours’ its special feature is that it has a spa. At the same time, since it is a protected area, it is under protection and there is no building permit.. After the boat docks in the cove, you can enter the hot spring in the stone area by going to the shore or swimming.. The hot water coming from the spa is good for rheumatic pains.. The temperature of the water is quite high; but we didn’t want to go into it because it is in a very small area and it suddenly gets crowded with the approaching boats.. I think we did not find it very hygienic. class=”has-text-align-left”>Dikili boat tours cost 70 TL per person in 2019, including your lunch, excluding drinks.. Prices may be slightly higher in season.
Sewing Private Boat Charter
As all boats have a quota of 70-100 people, if there is no separate box area, it gets tiring after a while.. If you make your plan in advance, you can also rent a private boat to visit Dikili bays.. The subject of private boat rental in Dikili is divided into two; If you are going to use the boat as a taxi just to go to a cove, you can go to and from Bademli with a 2-person fishing boat for 300 TL.. These two-person motorboats pick you up at a certain time and drop you off wherever you want, and they come and take you back to the port at the time you specify.
If you are going to do the Dikili boat tour as a group, it will be for 8-12 people. The daily rent of the boats varies between 800 TL and 1.000 TL depending on the season.. If you agree with these boats, you can visit the bays all day.
DIHILI BOAT TOUR RECOMMENDATION
We decided to take the Dikili boat tour after the picture of Kalem Island we came across in a magazine.. When we didn’t want to go back to Istanbul on the last day of our Ayvalık and Cunda trip, we started researching where to go, and when we saw that Dikili was very close, we set off for the Dikili boat tour that we wanted for a long time.. Güven Tur was the first to come across in internet research and we did not want to risk the tour so we called and made a reservation.
Although Güven Tur’s boat is for 100 people, it is located on the top floor. We completed the tour in a quieter way, as we booked a 10-person lodge section, and we were very satisfied with their services.. The lodge section is usually closed by 2-3 families and the food service is made exclusively for you.. We liked this option as we don’t like crowded tours.. We paid 100 TL per person for the lodge section.. Let’s add that there is music on the boat, unfortunately that was the only thing that made us unhappy.
THE BEST TIME TO TOUR DIHILI BOAT
Even though boat tours have been taking place in Dikili for a long time, they are just starting to become popular.. When we talked to our captain last summer, they said that the demand for bay trips has been increasing in the last few years and therefore the number of boats increases every season.. Of course, no matter how much it increases for now, there is never a crowd like in Marmaris and Bodrum.
We are on the boat tour during the holiday week. we came across a regular season crowd. Considering the coolness of the Dikili bays, the end of August and September would be very suitable for a quiet boat tour.. For those who plan to do it in the season, the best thing to do is to take the tour on a weekday.

It is essential to enjoy walking among the historical houses on quiet and calm streets without traffic noise and to breathe the atmosphere of the town.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.
Plomari with its unspoiled nature, friendly people, historical structures, magnificent beaches, ouzo, olive oil and soap >, one of the most beautiful corners of Lesbos. Those planning a trip to Mytilene should spend a few days in this beautiful town.
After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

But first, let’s list the must-haves and some information you need to know for those who are considering coming to Nepal:
Take a mask. Too much air pollution in the city. If you don’t want to walk in dust and smoke, take your mask.

You can see the most beautiful of the typical cute pencil houses of Gdansk that I mentioned in the Long Market.. The ones here are a little more historical and have wonderful decorations.
Also, I think the most eye-catching structure of the square is Gdansk Town Hall.

Gdansk’s Islands
I set foot on one of Gdansk’s islands from the Green Bridge in front of the Green Gate. I say island, but it is a part of the city I say so only because rivers run on both sides.
This is also a very touristic area, but it is under construction for now, that catches my attention the most. lots of mobile sweet sellers I see around. Poland’s sugary pastry desserts are in vain, definitely try it!

Eat a great boutique pancake shop called “Pan Kejk” on the Long Market I came. There is everything to eat and drink here, and you won’t believe the prices. I got a great sandwich, salad and unlimited coffee for only 15-20 zloty.
