What is a Hostel? Is it safe? Is it clean?
1- Isn’t It Hard To Sleep In The Same Room With People You Never Know?
I’ll stay in the same room with travelers from all over the world and get to know new cultures. things will be easier if you look. I stayed in the same room with 45 people in Singapore, but I have no regrets, I would do it again 🙂

2- How Girls and Boys Who Don’t Know Each Other Stay in the Same Room?

4- Is it safe to stay in a hostel?
Until now I’ve stayed in maybe 100 different hostels. All I’ve lost is two t-shirts and a pair of socks. Apart from them, I took a shower leaving my computer, camera and even my mobile phone around, but I did not have the slightest security problem.. Maybe I forgot what I lost there after I washed it and hung it somewhere.. I can’t say for sure they were stolen.
You can do the following against theft in the hostel;
Almost all hostels have small personal lockers. You put your valuables in these cabinets in the room and lock them with your own lock.. It is next to impossible to steal anything from there after that.. The only thing you need to remember is to put a lock on your bag before you start your trip.
These lockers are not big enough for your backpack.. In hostels, everyone usually puts their bags by the bed.. Don’t get into conspiracy theories to see if the bag is stolen or something goes wrong.. I’ve never had such a problem before, and I’ve never seen anyone else.. After seeing hostel life once or twice, you won’t have any questions about security.
5- Are Hostels Clean?
I have stayed in hostels where I had a hard time not stepping on cockroaches when I woke up at night, and I stayed in hostels that offer the comfort of a 5-star hotel.. The subject of cleaning varies from hostel to hostel.. The best way to understand this is to look at the reviews and ratings of that hostel from the online booking sites.. If you are meticulous about this, you will choose places with high scores and you will have peace of mind.
Most of the hostels I stayed in were clean. If it is an on-line hostel, it has to be clean anyway.. Because you can make negative comments about the hostel after your stay and naturally the hostel owner loses his potential customers.. So don’t worry too much about this cleaning.
6- How’s the Bathroom Event?
Sorry, you don’t have a private bathroom.. There are shared bathrooms instead.. These can sometimes be inside the room you are staying in and sometimes outside.. Some are for women only, some are mixed.. Since those who used it before you did not leave the bathroom clean, no matter how much hostel bathrooms are cleaned, there is usually no hotel cleaning.. Here’s my advice to you, always have a slipper in your bag.
7- Aren’t There Private Rooms in Hostels?
Most, if not all, of them In addition to dorm rooms, there are even family rooms for 1-2 people or even 4-5 people.. You can also stay in these if you want.. Although their prices are a bit more expensive than dorm rooms, there is no serious price difference.. Many times, I have seen married couples and even families traveling with their children stay in this type of room.. In other words, you can stay in a hostel even with your spouse or children.
8- Can I Cook in Hostel?
There are open kitchens. If you are traveling in an expensive country, you come to the kitchen by doing your shopping from the market, you can cook the food you want.. Now the rest is up to you. If you ask what a meal I can cook, you can watch the video I cooked in 15 minutes;
9- Do I Need to Make a Reservation?
strong>If the place I’m going to is not a popular city, I definitely go without a reservation.. Since I’m not a very planned traveler, booking is a little awkward for me.. But if you are a meticulous person, if you want everything to be planned, of course, you can make a reservation beforehand.. This is no different from a hotel reservation.. Major sites like hostelworld.com, hostelbookers.com, agoda.com and booking.com are perfect for this job.. In addition, even if you make a reservation or not, you can use these sites while searching for hostels, you can distinguish hostels with high scores, and you can decide where to stay better.
If you go without a reservation, sometimes They may quote higher prices than what you see online.. In such a case, say it is cheaper on the internet and if necessary, ask for the wi-fi password and make an online reservation.. They are always helpful in such cases, don’t worry.. Or vice versa, they can tell you the same price, and you can ask for a discount.. After all, hostels give commission to these requests in between.. You may even get a discount depending on the situation.
Note: hostelworld.com is the leading site in this business, but even though I reported my reservation problem to them twice, they did not take care of the issue at all.. You can use this site to look at hostel ratings and reviews, but I would say try other alternatives for reservation.
10- How is Check-In and Check-Out in Hostels?
It is no different from a hotel. Generally, check-in is between 12:00 and 14:00 and check-out is between 10:00 and 12:00.. In some hostels, check-out is free, you can even do it at 10 pm.
Also, some hostels may give you sheets and pillowcases during check-in.. don’t be surprised by this. When you go to your room, you will cover your own bed.. I actually like it because you sleep cleanly making sure no one else slept on those sheets before you.. In such hostels, you may be asked to bring sheets and pillowcases to the reception during check-out.
11- Are there Bedbugs, Bed Bugs or Bed Bugs in Hostels? ?
I’d be lying if I said no. The hostel I stayed in Chinatown in New York was probably my worst experience ever. Insects were everywhere. – If you’re coming back from outside late at night, be as quiet as you can. The person lying next to you may be getting up at 5 am and going to the airport.
– After taking a shower, leave it as clean as you can.. Even if your predecessor didn’t leave it clean, don’t do it.
– Usually no food in the room. Even if you are going to eat, at least do not prefer things that will make you smell.
– Do not talk loudly on the phone in a way that disturbs others. If you have to talk, leave the room and talk outside.
– You should wash all the plates and dishes you use in the kitchen.. Even in hostels that include breakfast, you usually wash everything you use.. Remember, there is no mother to turn your back on.
– Don’t leave your bag in the middle and restrict other people’s living spaces.
– Even if there are people who come out of the shower and walk around in panties, don’t do that.
13- What are the Benefits of Staying in a Hostel?
– Generally, hostels are located at the center of the area.. Therefore, you can easily reach places to visit and see.
– It is affordable.
– You will have the opportunity to meet people from all nationalities.. You can continue the trip with someone you met there, or you can make good friends later on.. Many times when I went to the country of people I met at the hostel, I stayed with them.. I know that they will stay with me when they come to Turkey.
– Since hostels are mostly used by backpackers, if there is something to do in that area, tour prices in hostels are usually the most affordable.
– A formal, cold environment like in hotels. On the contrary, there is a warm atmosphere.
– You will meet and observe people from dozens of nationalities.. Afterwards, you will experience the similar observations I have made in the link and get to know the people of other nations better.
14- Are There Any Negative Sides of Staying in a Hostel?
You will meet a lot of people all the time and you will forget 95% of it the next day.

Although the concept of hostel is common in many places, it may not be in some regions.. If you can’t find it from the sites I gave above, try searching on google.. There are such hostels that they have nothing to do with these on-line sites, they welcome anyone who comes to the door.. If you still can’t find it, try another alternative, airbnb.com.. This is not a hostel site. It is a very solid site with those who rent a room of their house or a complete flat.. You can even find villas on this site. There is also a rented parking space for parking in New York.
16- Do you have any suggestions for first-time hostel stays?
– Lower all your expectations. After all, you’re not going to stay in a hotel.
– Always have slippers in your bag.

We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

You can see the most beautiful of the typical cute pencil houses of Gdansk that I mentioned in the Long Market.. The ones here are a little more historical and have wonderful decorations.
Also, I think the most eye-catching structure of the square is Gdansk Town Hall.

You can often see these gates in the old city centre.. It is generally built like 2-3 storey private buildings and has arch-shaped openings from the inside and you enter and exit the square and the street from there.. Especially the Golden Gate is another beautiful one, don’t miss it…

Gdansk’s Islands
I set foot on one of Gdansk’s islands from the Green Bridge in front of the Green Gate. I say island, but it is a part of the city I say so only because rivers run on both sides.
This is also a very touristic area, but it is under construction for now, that catches my attention the most. lots of mobile sweet sellers I see around. Poland’s sugary pastry desserts are in vain, definitely try it!

I want to have a snack and rest now. Ĺžso that I can have a little view so that I can both fill my stomach and watch the city
Eat a great boutique pancake shop called “Pan Kejk” on the Long Market I came. There is everything to eat and drink here, and you won’t believe the prices. I got a great sandwich, salad and unlimited coffee for only 15-20 zloty.
