I just got back from a trip when my phone rang. The caller was none other than my dear friend Saner from the Korean automaker Hyundai.. Saner said that they are planning a 10 thousand km Turkey tour and they want me to be a part of this tour.. When it comes to travel and cars, I couldn’t say no to this invitation.
The project was quite interesting.. One of the 10 main sponsors of the European Championship (Euro 2016) to be held this summer, Hyundai aims to travel more than 35 cities in 40 days with 5 cars and cover 10 thousand km in order to raise awareness of this.. I caught the cars that set off from Istanbul in Muğla.

Mugla Story in One Day
We flew from Ataturk Airport to Bodrum Milas Airport on Tuesday at 10:10 a.m.. We bought our cars here without wasting time.. I bought the diesel automatic version of the New Hyundai Elantra, which I had not had the opportunity to use before, and set off towards our first target.
First Stop in Muğla: Bozüyük

Where to Eat in Bozüyük: Pınarbaşı Restaurant
Pinarbasi Restaurant, where we stopped for lunch, is a natural wonder. I wish it didn’t rain and we could sit in the garden and have our lunch, but this time it was my destiny to eat inside by the fireplace.
The most striking element of the meal, which we started with appetizers, is of course. became a capricorn. Capricorn comes here sauced. Overall the team really liked this sauce. I’m not in favor of gravy on meat. Frankly, I am one of those who think that the sauce overshadows the flavor of the meat.

After our flavor break in Bozüyük, we set out for Akyaka. Here I switched from Hyundai Elantra to Hyundai’s SUV Tucson.. After approximately 56 km of road, we found ourselves in the famous Akyaka town of Muğla. you are reaching. I definitely recommend that you find a pocket on this road and enjoy the Gulf of Gökova from the top.
Celebrity French oceanographer Jacques Cousteau describes the Gulf of Gökova as the “paradise spot on Earth”. The legend is that Poseidon’s secret palace under the sea is said to be under this bay.
Boat Tour in Azmak Stream
We reach Akyaka after a short photo break on the way. Here, we start the boat tour on Azmak Stream, before we settle into our hotel.. Another name for this stream pouring into the Gulf of Gökova is Kadın Azmağı.. The reason for this is described as the fact that women used to wash their clothes here for a while because of the soda water.
It is also among the rumors that this water is good for diseases and has a beautifying effect.. The tea, which has ice-cold water in all four seasons, promises legendary shots for photography enthusiasts.. Even a photography inept like me can think of Ara Güler here
Where We Stayed in Akyaka: Hotel Azmakhan Deluxe
We stayed at Hotel Azmakhan Deluxe, located across Azmak Stream in Akyaka.. This place has just been built and will serve its guests for the first time this year.. So some of its deficiencies were not completed yet.. For needs such as gym and sauna, you need to go to Hotel Azmakhan, which is located next to the hotel.. Also, the phone was not working in my room.. Also, the shampoos and shower gels used in the hotel seemed a bit cheap for a boutique hotel.
On the other hand, the sea and pool view rooms of the hotel were very nice.. I also found it successful in terms of cleanliness.
For breakfast, it is a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. You need to go to Nadir’s Place. This is a restaurant built on the edge of Azmak Stream.. Frankly, it is much better to have breakfast here than at the hotel.. A rich spread breakfast and a teapot are served for breakfast.. If you want an omelette, it is not included in the hotel breakfast.
Dinner at Akyaka Azmak : Halil’s Yeri
Our choice for dinner in Akyaka Halil’s Place, which is 2-3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. As soon as we entered the place in this famous fisherman’s restaurant, which is located by the Azmak Stream, we first chose the fish we would eat and then the appetizers.. After choosing our 2 giant bream, we set up at one of the tables on the edge of Azmak Stream.
Frankly, even if the stone comes here, it is eaten against this view.. The meals were generally good.. However, if I were to go to Azmak again, my choice for dinner would be Fishing Rod, which is right across our hotel.. I find both the decoration of this place much more successful and the desserts.. I still haven’t forgotten their tahini and walnut ice cream pancakes since the last time I came.. I think you can go to Akyaka just to taste this legendary dessert.
Breakfast in Akyaka: Nadir’s Yeri
After dinner, we went back to our rooms and had a good night’s sleep, and then the hotel’s contracted Nadir’ we went to in Yeri. This place is located right next to Halil’s Place where we had dinner.. In this place, which is built on the edge of Azmak Stream, the view is of a kind that would make you eat even if it was stone.. While we feed ourselves and the geese and swans with the breakfast spread, we are relieved of all our stress.
Our Final Destination is Dalaman Airport from Akayaka
Time At 9:30 we got back in our cars and set off for Dalaman Airport.. After a journey of approximately 70 km, we found ourselves at the airport.. Frankly, Dalaman Airport does not suit our touristic region.. It takes you back in time.
Fortunately, the airport is being renovated. We will soon see a modern airport worthy of Dalaman.

I had the opportunity to use both Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai Tucsons for 100 km of our 200 km journey.
How is the new Hyundai Elantra Diesel Automatic?
First of all, I want to talk about the New Hyundai Elantra. My intention was to drive Hyundai Tucsons until I saw the cars at the airport.. However, when I saw the New Elantra at the airport, its design managed to attract me.. Since I have not driven this car before, I immediately got behind the wheel.. The lines of the already famous German designer Peter Schrayer can be felt outside the car.. From the outside it looks more like a German car than a Korean. In it, the Korean line still continues.. But it’s available in many toy cars, from the big-screen touchscreen to navigation. The transition to a European perception in interior design may force the price competition of the brand with European brands at the first stage.. However, when I see the progress the brand has made in a short time, I think this will be overcome.
I think the most striking part is the new 1.6-liter 136 hp engine and the dual-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission that comes with it.. This duo reduces the car’s fuel consumption to 4.1 liters in the mix.. This figure was more than enough to get a traveler from Kayseri like me..
How’s the Hyundai Tucson?
During this trip, I experienced both the 2-liter diesel automatic Tucson model and the 1.6-liter gasoline automatic version of Hyundai.. Frankly, I used this car at the launch in Bodrum last summer.. Especially with its new design, it is perhaps the most handsome car in its segment.. I often see Tucson on the streets of Istanbul, anyway.
I think the most striking feature of the car is the lane keeping assist.. When this feature is on, if you leave the lane, the steering wheel automatically directs you to the lane. When I let go of the steering wheel, I saw and experienced that the steering wheel took the corner.. However, this system works if it sees 2 lines on the road.. Does not work on secondary roads only if it sees a lane line in the middle of the road. It already gives you a warning when it’s not working. Also, don’t expect the car to take the steering wheel in very hard corners.. It’s just a safety precaution to keep you on the road when you dive in.
This car already has 1 .6 liter and below diesel automatic transmission is a handicap. However, the 1.6 petrol model attracts great attention with its affordable price (1.6 petrol automatic Tuscon starts from 84 thousand TL).. This car has the old 6-speed automatic transmission in the dual-wheel drive version and the 2-liter diesel version, and the new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission in the 4-wheel drive 1.6-liter petrol version.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of traveling with Hyundai Tuscon was the panoramic glass roof.. Thus, we had the opportunity to observe up to the clouds in the sky during the journey.. Frankly, since the panoramic glass ceilings came out, I don’t have much to do with the sunroofs 🙂

There are 3 different museums in the town that appeal to enthusiasts. Varvayianni Ouzo Museum, Lomari Isidoros Arvanitis Ouzo Museum and Soap Museum are must-sees to see the most important production tools for this town.. The hospitality and warm welcome at the museums make people happy.

Plomari is 42 km from the center of the island of Lesvos.. Due to the nature of the road, this journey takes approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle.. In order to go to this town from Turkey, it is necessary to take a ferry from Ayvalık to Lesbos.. After the ferry ride that takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, the port of Lesbos is reached.. There is a municipal bus service between Mytilene and Plomari that runs 3-4 times a day.. However, without the hassle of the city bus, choose a pleasant journey by renting a car and being included in the nature view.

After our tiring and intense trip to India, we got out of the chaos and arrived in Nepal, where we said “oh there is a world”. During the worship we witnessed in temples, they offer flowers to their gods and light candles.
We were surprised that the fruits we ate did not taste salty, although agriculture is the livelihood of the country.. Especially when we say that the banana is disgusting that we have not eaten in our life, we say it’s like straw, we ate a banana that tasted just like that.. We got our Nepal visa quickly and very easily at the airport for 25 USD (15 days). They came to meet us because our hotel had a pick-up service.. We arrived at our hotel without the need to take a taxi.

But first, let’s list the must-haves and some information you need to know for those who are considering coming to Nepal:

Gdansk’s Islands
I set foot on one of Gdansk’s islands from the Green Bridge in front of the Green Gate. I say island, but it is a part of the city I say so only because rivers run on both sides.
This is also a very touristic area, but it is under construction for now, that catches my attention the most. lots of mobile sweet sellers I see around. Poland’s sugary pastry desserts are in vain, definitely try it!

Eat a great boutique pancake shop called “Pan Kejk” on the Long Market I came. There is everything to eat and drink here, and you won’t believe the prices. I got a great sandwich, salad and unlimited coffee for only 15-20 zloty.
